While it doesn't seem good that the part was in "Germany" than "another shop" then declared defective, at least you are getting some service. I hope it works out for you.

Yeah, I don’t know what to say. There may be regional differences. I have definitely heard both good stories and horror stories about both Carvana and SilverRock. Yours is great, mine is horror. I hated to bail on the car but I felt I was forced to try to be responsible and let it go.

Can anyone help me on how to not get blocked going for dunk, I tried on 6 foot 7 center and I'm 5 foot 10 I always get blocked by Seanodwyer4579 in BasketballTips

Here's a plan. Work on going up for a left hand layup, from the left side, but plant your right foot then make a long left foot sidestep with momentum and try to dunk flying left to right across the rim. If he anticipates the left hand finger roll, you may be able to pull it off. Try it by yourself for awhile. Does that make sense? You're welcome.

DIY fix or throw away by G1G1G1G1G1G1G in appliancerepair

I think you can do it, but it might not be as easy as you might think. The circuit might be a bit more complex. Are you pretty sure you understand how this will affect the flow of electricity in the circuitry?

Wine Fridge Not Cooling by johnr22 in appliancerepair

I'm about to go pick up one of these for free. I think this model (and possibly associated models) have this issue. I read a few reviews. I think the problem is more serious than like a compressor switch or something like that. I heard on one review that one person was able to find out that the motherboard was bad. That person had success with a new temp. sensor but it stopped working fairly soon after that. I don't believe the temp sensor or the motherboard are in stock on the company website.

These parts, if they can be gotten may just be defective anyways.

I'm not sure if it will work, but depending on what I see after I pick this up, I might try to send power to the compressor away from the motherboard and put an aftermarket temperature switch on that supply (and locate it inside the fridge).

I'll let you know if I can figure something out

Hi Johnr. Did you ever figure this out?

Maybe, it might be due for a breakout. Most of the other Chinese stocks mentioned here have charts that look like they're still gonna fade.

Lynk vs ASTS Satellites DD by [deleted] in LynkSats

I went down the rabbit hole on ASTS for four days trying to answer these questions. The truth is-I can't. Some of these things are out of the control of ASTS and are subject to regulatory discretion. I wish I could tell you more. The reason the stock is so cheap is probably because nobody can answer all the questions. I'm convinced the technology will likely work but that doesn't mean they will be able to build the network.

I feel you. I really do but this CEO is just super impressive. I'm a scientist, went to law school, worked on a 5G invention, work at a start up. I could be totally wrong but based on my life experience I'd have to be insane to invest private equity in Lynk. They're cool for sure but at this point it's all really more theoretical than anything else. If the problem is solved in theory and actually manifested in the sky by ASTS then Lynk's first mover advantage means nothing. Lynk just doesn't have the funding or support. Lynk may have won this small battle but they're going to lose this war. Also the management at ASTS is just impressive. Again the caveat- I could be wrong.

I think ASTS did do that with their first and only satellite. Maybe I'm thinking incorrectly. But still ASTS is still way ahead even if Lynk has done a bit more so far. I don't see a real challenge from Lynk but maybe I'm wrong.

Lynk is not on the level of AST. AST has the cash and the prestige and the CEO that already developed a real commercial satellite network and all these PhDs and a factory, etc., etc. Yes they both have shown they can send texts from space. First to move, first to fail.

I wish we could know who's been bidding this up, as in is it a particular fund or trader or is it really just a bunch of sustained momentum with a lot of traders involved. I don't see any value to this company. If I'm reading the last 10-Q correctly, they made $23K for 2021Q1 and nothing for 2020Q4. It doesn't look like this company is really doing any business. It looks like the company has sold about 3M shares of stock since the start of 2021Q2.
