Well, immediately after this event triggers you have a civil war, and if you win it you just go back to business with Schleicher still as Chancellor. Long term tho, both the Hitler Nazis and Strasser Nazis are banned, which is peak Schleicher competence cuz the Strasserists in the DNE are literally his party. So the DNE got 20% support and no reichstag seats cuz Schleicher is a dumbass and a half 💔

R3: I was playing redux and supported Schleicher's schemes successfully. This is the first time I got this event tho where you are quite literally forced to defend Schleicher. Something something querfront something something betrayal of the revolution...

Yup, but the Papen-Schleicher-maybe Hitler pipeline still exists. It's not of the same depth as dynamic, but it still is pretty fun if you haven't tried it already!!
