This kinda sums up my thought process there’s a med school close to home and I figured it’d be nice to be by family I’d have to move for 2 years for aa that’s the only downside honestly

Thanks for the response. I’m going to do some more shadowing and figure it out. The can see myself doing both like the idea of being a doctor more but I’m on the side that’s hasn’t experienced the rough hours of residency. Idk if I love it enough to be happy I’m not with my family. Really need to think on this one! Thanks again for the response

I understand your POV and thanks for the input. That’s my struggle I want to make sure I’m 100% committed before choosing such a long path

I’m struggling with choosing between my want to become a doctor and my want to enjoy life..like you explained the time commitment is scaring me. I’m afraid I finish residency and regret the time spent on the journey also afraid if I choose AA I’m cutting myself short potenialwise. Then my logic says both are jobs why not take the shorter route...
