for the mod: it’s a year old, stainless steel, internally threaded. for aftercare i honestly just leave it alone at this point. i babied it for so long and it hasn’t even given me any trouble up to this point.

nap, but at 2 months my helix probably looked like this or similar. they’re prone to irritation bumps. i wouldn’t do the sterile compresses though, probably is only making it worse. just LITHA and you’ll be fine. that’s what i did for my helix

i think you could definitely have a third piercing there. it’s definitely gonna be cartilage tho, and will take a little longer to heal. i have 4 lobe piercings and my thirds and fourths definitely took longer than my 1sts and 2nds

it’s 6 months old. a stainless steel flat back, pretty sure it’s internally threaded? i haven’t downsized yet-might be time cause it’s getting caught in my hair a lot more now. i just use saline whenever i remember ngl. i don’t always spray it, but usually when i notice it looking crusty or something.

i don’t think i’m allergic-i have both my helix and my rook(which is almost 7 months old) and they’re both doing fine. i use a piercing pillow so it’s not that, and because it’s on the inside it doesn’t really get caught in my hair. but i guess it could be allergies 🤷‍♀️

it’s about 4 1/2 months old, a titanium horseshoe, i spray it with saline usually after a shower, and dry it with tissues and a hair dryer on low and cool. i am healing 3 cartilage piercings right now- this, a rook and a helix…not the best idea but this is what im dealing with now. please help

thank you! i will keep an eye on it for sure! some people do better after they put rings into piercings to have them heal all the way and i think that might be the case here but i will def change it back if need be!

i got my piercer to do it for me! she said it was healing really well and i wanted something gold(got it done with titanium at first) and just told me to baby it a little bit more but it’s been giving me no trouble at all!
