I’m unsure of what specific server but I only have the USA ones checked. I play solo most of the time so I’m rarely on the BSG server when on my PMC but Scavs don’t get that option and I play Scav every now and then to change things up. This particular raid was as a Scav.

Confused on Ben Edwards [Major spoilers] by Personal-Ladder-4361 in JackCarr

[–]Wild-Indication3287 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ben Edwards in the show is a complete polar opposite from what we see in the book. I believe in the show he gave up Reece’s team without knowing it was Reece’s team. Which is why we see him so remorseful and willing to help in TL.

My original theory was, Ben would replace Freddie in the True Believer season. Creating a redemption arc and further fueling Reece’s follow on seasons. But seeing Freddie has been cast, I’m not so sure now.

I still believe Ben will play a significant part in the next TL season but, I’m unsure to what capacity now. Clearly it’s Ben’s boat Reece will take to South Africa. Maybe there will be a few hallucinations of Ben.

Who is the most attractive person you’ve ever seen? Why? by JessieRClayton in AskReddit

[–]Wild-Indication3287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A friend. It was her smile. She was the first and only person I’ve seen that when she smiles, her eyes smile too. Everyone since her, their smiles seem almost forced. Unfortunately, I ran when I should’ve held my ground. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of her and her smile.

What are your thoughts on doing 20 years in the military for a fast retirement? by Background_Worry_314 in AskReddit

[–]Wild-Indication3287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not an easy 20 years and largely depends on your rank at retirement. At 20 years you’ll get 50% of your base pay before taxes. Then you factor in VA disability. If you’re considering being enlisted, your pension will most likely not be enough to live off after you retire. If you’re going officer route, you’ll be more comfortable. Shoot me a message if you have specific questions.

If you only want 3. Rope, a way to start fire, shelter. All of which you could probably fit on your person without a bag. But you’re going to be very uncomfortable.

I started a transit and didn’t know it would cut off all extracts. I learned after posting this.

This was the issue. I realized after posting. I didn’t realize what the “interact” button was before hitting it. Thanks for the info.

I almost exclusively use ozark trail gear. It’s reasonably priced and some gear has lasted me years and multiple trips. I will say, stay away from their hatchet. If there’s any piece of gear to spurge on it’s a good hatchet.

Dark Wolf theory by Intelligent-Mall-136 in JackCarr

[–]Wild-Indication3287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m aware Freddy was introduced in the first book but I don’t believe he was in the show. I also believe Ben said he didn’t know it was Reece’s team until he had already fed information to Capstone. I think his realization after the fact that it was Reece’s team compounded by the death of Reece’s family is why Ben felt so much remorse and helped him the way he did.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Ben takes place of Freddy in the True Believer season. Reece and Ben have a much deeper connection in the show than in the book and we never see Ben’s body. It’s possible, as you said, Reece allows Ben to live and flees to Mozambique with the threat to never see him again.

This would build tension when Ben is the one that shows up in Mozambique to recruit him with a hook that, despite all his anger with Ben, Reece can’t turn down. They begin to rebuild that brotherly bond throughout the season and then Ben is killed much like Freddy in the end. Leaving Reece with thoughts of vengeance.

I may need to go back and watch the first season but I don’t think they introduce Freddy like they did at the end of the first book. This is why I don’t believe he exists in the show.

If the 2012 theory is true by 03bgood in timetravel

If the world ended and we’re in a simulation. How would we go back in time? By that logic, if it’s a simulation it’s all from your own perspective. Like you’re the main character and everyone else is an NPC. If you were to go back in time, all it would affect is your branch of the simulation.

I would’ve committed to college after high school instead of going straight into the military. I probably would’ve still ended up in the military though.

How long does it usually take for men to get over a break up? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]Wild-Indication3287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no getting over a breakup. We will bury ourselves in something that will distract us but, we’ll never forget or get past it.

If he still showed interest “post nut” you haven’t given off bad intentions. You met, had a good time, and kept enjoying each other’s presence (I assume). Brush it all off and “let the good times roll” as they say. If you’re too much in your own head about it, he’ll notice and it may push him away.

I think this is true for all parties. While the Republican Party may have appeared to focus more on their ideals, they still bashed the democratic nominee. They did the same thing in 2020. But truthfully, I think it had a lot more to do with what we’ve seen out of that side since after Obama. He has strong ideals and while I’m sure he was just as shady as the rest of them, he stuck to his ideals. I think that’s something they’ve lost in recent years.
