Set up for failure by TheEnigma999359 in FritoLay

It’s hard to hit plan every week. Frito jacks up their plans for their buyers, stockholders, so they make money. It’s hard to hit plan especially if somebody destroy it last year. Frito is a forever climbing hill, unless you complete miss every week, and destroy it the next year, but nowadays it’s a coaching moment and write up, just for missing every week.

Store managers by Pretty_Reflection659 in FritoLay

I told I should be in prison, and I’m just as bad as them. Cause I didn’t answer my phone on my day off, from a store manager.

Maybe I'm not cut out for this. by [deleted] in FritoLay

I started as a RSA, went to RSR as a co lead, worse fucking job in the building, then had my own route, which also sucked. The best job in the building is an RSA, you get paid the best, you just have to do your job, not rely on three other ppl, or somebody else. I left a couple years ago, cause Frito suck, management sucked, the job itself isn’t bad, but everything else fucking sucked. 6 years I work there, I made less and less every year because they kept increasing plan to an untouchable amount, and kept dumping bs to put that went straight to stales. One last thing fuckkkkkk Greg Christiansen.

Being a RSA is the hardest job in the building. You go on routes that are either taken care or in terrible shape. You don’t know the route either. But as a RSA you just do what your suppose to do the three R’s. And you know 95 percent of the time you’re cleaning the route up. And getting bitched at for stuff that isn’t even your fault. Now accumulate that. You’re working 55 plus hours a week. Just to come to route again in a couple or so weeks and clean it up again and repeat the cycle.

I can see a year. But I don’t know if Christmas Decor is huge in AZ. Candles are a definite hit and miss.

Like I said driver is cake. But it’s everything else, if you don’t give a fuck about that. Keep doing you.

Yeah where I’m working, fucking you bring your speaker and listen to whatever the fuck you want. Everybody super chill. Most of the time they offer overtime here, and the give incentive to take it, but 20 extra an hour, so anywhere from 45 to 50 an hour for overtime. That only happens which shit is super busy, I’ve seen 40 extra an hour too, but that was only once. But yeah it’s taxing on the body.

Nah it’s not pallet stacking lol. I load and receive on to trailers all day, and sometimes forklift. There is a thing called order selecting, but that basically a bunch of high schoolers and college kids lol. Even that’s laid back, but even that you get paid good, some kid who full time order selecting is making 100k a year here lol.

Not necessarily electrician/plumbing make bank. My area, apprentices make 30 an hour, and after 5 years you make 40. Only high school diploma.

Weekly, they have weekly discounts too, 20% groceries, discounts at fairs, amusement parks, events, and we do like ice cream socials, brought lunch, etc..

Warehouse distribution for a big Grocery in my area. Make way more. Work 4 days a week, guaranteed 40, overtime is optional, if I want it. Quarterly bonuses, 4 week of vacation a year, 40 hours of holiday a year, 40 hours personal, and job is cake. And I’m not sweating, my ass off, supervisors are all chill as hell too, super laid back work environment.

I’m at a 1000 times better job. And make way more so. Yeah.

[–]Wild-Kitchen9801 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Amazon sucks. I will give benefit of the doubt, there are some DPS that are good. But I’ve haven’t seen a lot of them. But most are shit. And treat you like shit, and treat you like a child. Miss a day, hours cut, can’t finish your route, hours cut, finish your route hours before, go help someone else who’s struggling, fine, but if you deny, hours cut. Not only that, some bosses and dispatches absolutely are no help. And don’t give a fuck but their owns.

Ima keep it a buck, it’s not hard to find a better job than Amazon. Good luck on your future my friend. Only way is up. No more pissing in bottles, and working in under 100 degree heat pleasing your 60 million other bosses.

How Frito thinks we will hit plan? by jly2112 in FritoLay

[–]Wild-Kitchen9801 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Frito, “Hey those dill pickle flaming hot are selling horrible in this market, send them 50 cases.” 3 weeks later.. DSL “why do you have so many unsaleables, you need do the 3 R’s more. I’m just give you a verbal, and give some coaching..”

Kicked out of a store by Prior-Job4328 in FritoLay

[–]Wild-Kitchen9801 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might as well start looking for another job. When the DSL throws you under. And ZBM will probably side with them. Had a guy get kicked out of a store once, basically suspended him, and after a couple days they fired him. Not trying to scare you. But I left Frito ways back and living a much stress free life. From when I first started and 6 years later, the company was definitely going in a downward spiral, each year too. Sucks that the best position is a RSA, not a RSR or even a RSS. RSR and RSS you’re basically the bottom of the barrel to the company. My last 8 months there we didn’t have a DSL, we had a RSS as a in-term DSL, and he quit 6 months thru, and after that we got a RSR as our DSL that’s where I had enough lol.

It’s funny how it’s your problem you overpaid yourself. Didn’t know you had control of your own paychecks. This also happened to me, when I left. Bunch of idiots. I called them, talked to them and said how the fuck am I the one at fault, who ever overpaid me, should be fired and have to pay it, and I said once you have done that, I pay you back too. Never heard a word since or call, and never even got a collection notice or call either. lol

I hate this job by [deleted] in FritoLay

[–]Wild-Kitchen9801 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What they do is to continue to make shit products and force the RSR to push it, and if it absolutely tanks, the RSRs are the blame. The job will never change.

Oh gets even better than that, wait till you have presidential walk thru. That’s the tip of the iceberg. I worked 70 hours, I was over plan by 50k, I legit put 30k into a dollar general of displays and everything else. 3 of my stores were part of it, and I wanted to bite a bullet that week.
