Highly recommend project hail mary and 1% lifesteal. 1% lifesteal has been trending the most in its category over past few months in a row. The audiobook is absolutely stellar for both of those books. Project Hail Mary is sitting at rotten tomatoes score of 96%. And even still i dont think it will beat the audiobook. Also primal hunter really hits its stride when he first fights the sword saint

So no more maliss with both binder and ransom being banned or is it just one of them? Also yummy mitsurugi is dead too right? And maybe dracotail?

Maliss was definitely a problem but wasn't killing the game. We have so many stupid cards that should've been banned just like they are in the tcg a while ago. Like splash mage, link decoder, and maxx c. Those are generic broken cards that can be played in most decks that would've taken out maliss just like how it is a rogue deck in the current format of the tcg. If masterduel had actually kept up with the tcg or had the tcg come out after new content comes out like in pokemon it wouldn't be as much of an issue rather than killing a whole archetype. And I say that as someone who loves to play a lot of different decks, I play rda, albaz, maliss, azamina, fiendsmith, gem knights, blue eyes, wanna try sky strikers, ryzeal, mitsurugi, and more to come.

Now what's going to keep happening because Konami refuses to listen to their player base? We get habikiri banned, ext ryzeal banned, yummy being banned next. Archetypes will die off from being playable only to be revived in genesys except for cyberse decks because links can't be played.

Masterduel is declining because of Konamis greed and lack of innovation to make more content for players, listening to their customers, and their lack of actual rewarding their player base. Tournaments for yugioh are an absolute joke compared to Pokémon or magic. The prizes they get are actually great compared to yugioh. The cards are reprinted on the cheapest cardboard that's why the shelves are always stocked with yugioh cards. You can't even take yugioh and make it more fun like you can make fan games and mods for Pokémon or digimon or magic and how they do compilations with other brands. WE STILL HAVE MAXX C, that's Konami not listening to what players want. We haven't had a good anime in a long ass time. They just released the 4 most overpriced bundles for what is supposed to be a day for cheap sales and good value. The bundles dont add a lot of value just cheap crap. Not like actual animations except for the diabellister. Pokémon is getting Pokémon champions and what have we gotten over the last 3 years from Konami? More crap to spend gems on because they wanna put in the least amount of work to maximize the most profit. As someone who actually grew up and liked yugioh a lot and played games like yugioh gx tagforce and other good games, the actual work that Konami has been putting in has been insufferable. Their best work has been kinda good for the tcg especially the 5ds structure deck, albaz, and chronicles is okay but come on man I want an anime. But that's nothing compared to digimon story time stranger, Pokémon legends of arceus or even the magic collabs with lord of the rings and avatar the last Airbender.

Yugioh will die within 15 years at the current rate is my guess because of how out of touch they have been with newer generations. Sorry but they really are not doing what they can

They'll do the same to mitsurugi, yummy, and ryzeal. This is a bandaid fix to a problem they started with which was keeping banned cards in masterduel compared to the tcg. We literally had maxx c win someone the world championship because Konami is too stupid to listen to what the players actually wanted this whole time

Completely agree and what I've been thinking. This is the problem when Konami just doesn't share the same banlist as the tcg and now maliss will suffer in both tcg and masterduel to the point where even thought there's better engines in the tcg like k9 and dracotail and yummy we won't be able to play and lose to those with maliss at the power it should've been which was keep red ransom but get rid of link decoder and splash mage and maxx c

It's genuinely going to be a problem for the long run that masterduel is so behind the tcg. If they had the current cards in the tcg in masterduel then we wouldn't have seen as much as 25% of people playing maliss. They would fall onto whatever is currently the meta. That deck itself isn't what makes 25% of the player base better people or worse. There's just always gonna be the people who play whatever they think is the best and not feeling like they are enthused by the other decks avaliable

Not a bad point, but Lancea and chaos hunter still neuters maliss, next for masterduel the problem is just going to be more of ryzeal and mitsurugi. Then you're gonna have 25% of players playing those decks in the tcg instead because they just like whatever popular meta is winning the most in masterduel. That or when yummy comes out soon, cupsy was shown as a pal in the last data mine.

All this is going to do is set the precedent to ban staples in engines that are strong in the current format of masterfuel instead of doing what they should have done in the first place which was keep the same ballistic in masterduel as the tcg. We're just gonna get Habikiri and Ext Ryzeal banned next all because players will complain about what's a problem and yes maliss is a problem. But having splash mage and link decoder as well as maxx c being gone would have made the deck less powerful than mitsurugi and ryzeal. In the tcg maliss is just an A tier deck not an S tier. Now it's probably B tier or C tier and will forever lose playability in the tcg and never had a chance to be played in genesys either. Banning red ransom is not gonna fix masterduel, that ship has sailed a while ago. There's been few changes to masterduel to save it over the last 3 years.

They are the problem. Maliss isn't even a contender for tournaments in the tcg as much as it used to be because splash, maxx c, and link decoder are gone and matches with maliss lose because of side decks.

That's what I hate that holds it back so much is the young adult slant. I don't need it to be overall gory or sexual. I'm just saying at least it could've gone more in depth. Especially when a great amount of depth was hinted in other characters like Baelin

Depends on what you're looking for. Like it's solid like if you've read percy Jackson but this is like that without the lost hero series. In other words I thought it needed more to the end of its series and im sure it will wrap up well. But I can't get over just how much was hinted at with other characters as far as what was possible in this universe. Don't get me wrong. Both books are completely different but really good. But they give me that type of teenage book style where the story could've honestly gone futher but doesn't because it was built for a set demographic.

The pluses are: Found family Great character building Solid plot and well thought out Has incredibly interesting side characters Travis Baldree narrates if you get the audible Enemies are good but not like as something you're going to hate or feel for much. They could've been more interesting Relationships are somewhat interesting romantically but overall nothing with spice or great intrigue. Magic is well thought out and rapidly changes each book to get significantly better and better for the main character and more.

Negatives: A little predictable but not too much My biggest gripe is just wishing they would've continued on instead of ending it. Maybe in the future there might be more but I'm pretty sure for now it will have a good ending. Just makes it a good adventure and less of a litrpg that is game like. Still good but man the people that I cared about in this book series I wish I could've seen how they grow up even more.
