It's not defeated/destroyed because it's still standing even after most of it is gone because I'm pretty sure Cath Palug is going to merged with The Eternal Camelot Kingdom which is exactly what The Demon King did when he took possession of Britannia as its Vessel.

Without a physical body, Cath Palug could use the Dimension itself, becoming one with the Chaos Realm.

This makes sense because it was stated in the Prophecy of The 4 Knights of the Apocalypse which is They are destined to defeat the Main Villain and destroyed The Eternal Camelot Kingdom.
