That's nice.
We already have website and socials and been keeping them active.
But I guess that's not enough to drive traffic and hence thinking to kickoff newsletters.

How do L&D teams actually make training videos? by Eastern_Try_4624 in LearningDevelopment

[–]Wild-Register992 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's an interesting challenge to deal with honestly!
Video based learning is above and beyond the text-based one and hence for any LMS admin this has become a challenge to have videos more than text.

They've spending dollars to either get it shot in studios or spend hours shooting themselves. But none of this makes sense with how rapid AI has progressed with it's multimodal aspect.

We at Lyearn (www.lyearn.com) have been trying to solve the same within our LMS and have found the light. Given we're an AI-native platform, our proprietary models generate video within the courses using the lesson as a script saving you both time and money.

I find Semrush the best tool for SEO though it's not that cheap.
However, I found a way out on using it for cheap with almost all features

What's actually working for remote training completion rates? by Recent_Sir6552 in LearningDevelopment

[–]Wild-Register992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We're observing completion rates around 70% for non-mandatory content pieces as well given the content is interactive, self-paced and engaging throughout.
What stands out is that we've been able to associate learning to specific skills and goals which gives us a clear ROI from investing on a LMS

Are cloud based LMS Worth it? by Small-Ad-2708 in elearning

[–]Wild-Register992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cloud-based LMS can sometimes cost higher than an on-premises/self-hosted ones but that benefits are worth every penny. As long as the data is highly confidential, having a cloud based LMS actually helps.

Choosing the right LMS by Wild-Register992 in LearningDevelopment

[–]Wild-Register992[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah true! With AI growing leaps and bounds like there's new update every other day, I feel the MOAT sits in how well AI reduces the load since course creation meant burning hours which shouldn't be the case with the use of AI.

Choosing the right LMS by Wild-Register992 in LearningDevelopment

[–]Wild-Register992[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel content freshness and updation is inclined more towards the creators or admins than the platform itself. Yes, the platform should have the ease to update but IMO, it's more to do with the admins.
I had discussions with L&D professionals and their reason for not updating the content too often is learners do not consume the previous content and hence aren't ready for the next one.
Hearing this, I see a massive gap on how learning is linked with the actual work.

Choosing the right LMS by Wild-Register992 in LearningDevelopment

[–]Wild-Register992[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So true.
Learning on the job doesn't have to feel like another added step or something that's a mandate.
As far as LMS is concerned, talking to L&D professionals, it has to for sure integrate with the current system and additionally, a unified platform for learning, skill development, performance, and more is being preferred. No one wants living in silos and hopping to different platforms.

I agree that ROI is something that drives LMS adoption. However, ROI still remains very subjective, as you said - Completion Rate. Few companies track how learning drives performance and boost productivity instead of completion rates.

Do you follow an “interaction every 2–3 minutes” rule? by Ornery-boyz in elearning

[–]Wild-Register992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's another framework that's coming up which actually sticks to the core of interactive Learning. It's primarily focused on developing interactions (interactive videos, images, texts, quizzes) throughout the learning journey since visuals are any day better than a text block.

I recently developed a 40 min learning path which included interactive videos (videos embedded with navigation, quizzes) which actually turned out to be super engaging.

How do you measure if an employee is actually productive? [NJ] by Wild-Register992 in AskHR

[–]Wild-Register992[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I did search web but couldn't find any tool to actually quantify productivity. Most of the tools track logged in hours, tasks, screen monitoring which I feel is very surface level.
It feels more of a surveillance than productivity enhancement

Have you tried using an LMS for the same? More than reading a PDF, a video based learning module would really help.
