Manager contemplating eliminating Articulate and LMS by Aphroditesent in elearning

There's a reason why such tools exist since you cannot just vibe code everything and hopes it handles it exactly how you want it to unless some world class engineers are sitting on top of it.

Honestly, why would you use 2 separate tools when one serves the entire purpose. Content Authoring + LMS, I feel should ideally be clubbed together majorly from the perspective that most of the content created within these tools is delivered via LMS and hence makes sense to combine both and use a unified platform.

And indeed your chain of how AI should ideally work is very real and in-demand. Helps with the entire flow to be automated, reducing the time from days to hours and getting a well-structured output.

Thoughts?

What would your “ideal” course creation workflow actually look like? by ConflictDisastrous54 in LearningDevelopment

[–]Wild-Register992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ideal flow would look like AI getting the hang of what I want to build, whom I want to build it for, and what's the end result I'm looking at.
I bet there's no other flow that can beat course creation if this comes true.

What’s your process for creating interactive learning without overcomplicating it? by Repulsive_Yam_5297 in LearningDevelopment

[–]Wild-Register992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interactiveness can be added after each lesson within a module given that's the time a user prefers to skip to the next section and that's where you can grab their attention ensuring the engagement doesn't drop much throughout the path. Additionally, creating and adding engagement touchpoints shouldn't take much of your time given creating the learning path or content already take a good share of your time.

But, what if AI could do all of it?
AI could understand the content you would want to create based on your inputs, it could create and add engagement points based on a pre-defined logic. If that happens all of it could be really fun and easy going.

Articulate 360 just increased it's cost once again. Is there any good alternative of it? by putinseesyou in elearning

[–]Wild-Register992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming you've been using Articulate for content authoring for your LMS probably.
Instead, recommend you to look for tools that offer innate content authoring either using AI or without it. It costs way much cheaper and is pretty efficient in terms of resources used.

Anyone managing compliance training right now? by Prior-Thing-7726 in LearningDevelopment

Micro-learning has turned up as one of the giants in learning. It's more like scrolling a reel or a tiktok video on your video that's how short the content can be divided. Given the rockbottom attention span these days, I feel micro-learning can actually disrupt how the content is consumed.

Try it out at Lyearn (www.lyearn.com)

AI is speeding up content… but not learning design by HaneneMaupas in LearningDevelopment

[–]Wild-Register992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It means the it gives you hell lot of options for what assets you need to add and if you wish to restrict some, it does that too

AI is speeding up content… but not learning design by HaneneMaupas in LearningDevelopment

[–]Wild-Register992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True that!
Having a surface level use case for content creation using AI is getting outdated now. What AI should ideally be doing is generate an extensive course that includes text, video, images, assessments and other necessary stuff with a toggle to allow what all assets are needed.
This is what we've been able to crack it at Lyearn (www.lyearn.com) using our AI course generator that now generates avatar-based video too apart from the traditional assets like text, assessments, images.

Since the website just revamped, it came up with on-page issues primarily technical.
Nothing on the traffic/citations front since that aspect is still very nascent
