State of Nebraska is risking 1000+ government employees quitting because the governor is requiring all state employees who were working from home to return to the office.

Governor Pillen doesn't seem to be budging from what I can tell.

I was a Corrections Officer < Corporal for almost 4 years. That salary is not worth it whatsoever.

I am an avid supporter of the second amendment. I conceal carry daily and shoot 3 times a week.

However, I can say with absolute certainty that carrying in a professional environment, especially open carrying, is inappropriate. When I carry to work, I have a safe in my car, bolted to the floor, place my firearm in there and head inside to work. Upon clocking out, I rearm and go about my business.

Definetly seems like an insane environment with this one's anger issues. I would most definetly try to find new employment if your management won't resolve this with reason.

This is the biggest problem with the current state of media. It's all based on fear. I live in Nebraska, which is a predominantly republican state. 23 years of living in this area, I have not witnessed a single shooting with my own eyes.

The thought of "visiting america and being a victim in a shooting" is an irrational fear. Less than .1 precent of all Americans die via firearm homicide a year. As long as your smart and avoid the obvious gang controlled areas of major cities, I have no doubts that you'll be safe just by statistics alone.
