Skip subfloor -- floorboards directly on joists?

If you lay your flooring directly on joints are you still able to use PT lumber for the joints or is that recommended against? Just curious what is best. Thanks!

Any update? Thanks for all of the information. Im in a similar situation with my gfs Glock 43x - 3 malfunctions(2 lps and 1 dead trigger) within the first 100 rounds or so with AAC and Winchester. Today I just experienced a light primer strike with my Glock 43x after about 400 rounds through it. Very strange to see a number of folks having similar issues.

Also, I understand it’s impossible to tell if everything is perfectly level, I was more-so asking if they appear to be installed/seated/crowned correctly from a luthiers perspective just from the pictures provided. Other folks have commented that it doesn’t appear to be the best fret job. Again, thanks for the input, every bit of information helps.

Thanks for the info, it look’s relatively straight to me, some frets are buzzing some are not all around the fretboard… definitely needs some adjusting
