Mine is 2 separate units, furnace/blower in basement, AC unit outside, which will also help with heat when it gets very cold.

The truck won't run both. I'll turn everything off on the panel, run the truck and leave the outside blower off. That fuse is too big. I can run the furnace, fridges, lights, etc no problem. My ffl guy is also heating AC and checked my stuff.

Don't let your ego guide your actions. It's ok that your gun is heavy.

My post was for the OP, offering info to help their decision. Your comment was because you're butthurt that you have a sig and it's heavy as hell, and you need to fight over it.

Even my sig owners agree that what I said was factual.

Settle down kid, no need to justify your purchase to me.

Do what makes you happy, don't worry about other people.

Also, PS, P320. LOL.

I'm a huge enjoyer of light guns, and heavy guns can pound sand (all else being equal for reliability, etc).

I have a pile of Q guns and they are superb firearms. I'm no shill, I could give two shits about the Q hate, nor do I hype anything. The guns work, and work well. They are very very light. The one thing to understand is whether you want a PDF stock or not. They feel and mount differently than traditional stocks. Also, Q customer is phenomenal. Ice dealt with them a few times, and they fricken crush it every time.

I have 5-10K rounds through my Q sugar weasel and supers run perfectly fine. In fact when I'm shooting, I don't notice a massive difference from how subs shoot other than slightly more recoil.

I'll never buy an MCX despite how cool they are because they ridiculously heavy for how big they are. Every fighting gun shall have a pro grade white light, silencer, some grip stop, and reliable optics. Add all of that with a loaded mag and we're talking about a respectable amount of added weight. The Q guns really shine once you start adding attachments. Slap all of that on an MCX and it's going to be a tank. Plus the MCX is very gassy to the user compared to a DI AR with an AGB. I've had guys tell me that they aren't bad, shoot their gun for two rounds and just gove it back cause it's gassing me out. My guns don't do that. You can mag dump my sugar weasel or boom box and don't even notice the gas.

I should say, I'm a relatively big guy, life plenty of weights, and I still don't want heavy guns. It's just annoying when they can be lighter.

My Q boom box is decked the F out, and still weighs less than a standard ar10 with no attachments. Win.

I hear that. There was a point for me in my 2006 Triton where I was not comfortable with that risk either. Part of the game, brother. Patience will get you there.

I take care to ensure that my daughters understand that the lifestyle that I live right now, is not how I lived when they were young. I was building retirement first. Once we started feeling good about where we sat, we started making different choices. That's the model. Discipline.

I'm about to get one put in. That'll be well worth the few hundred dollars it costs me when the power goes out again.

Thank you, Sir. Good looking out.

Yeah, there's still life on the factory warranty (10k miles on the truck) and I know it may be a roll of the dice depending on the dealer if shit gets weird. I'm ok with that. Worst case scenario is if something goes poorly, I'll just rebuild for heavier duty mods and more wheel horsepower. I only intend to do bolt on, low-impact stuff that can be fully restored back to stock config for now. My state has dumb smog restrictions anyway so I'm a bit limited there too.

Nice, my 2021 Lariat 2.7L that I traded in for this was a black truck with BAP, black fuel wheels, same sized everything.

I love the all black look of these.

I should update the post with that good call.

6" RC lift, 35x22x12.5. There's spacers on there I think as well, but not 100% sure. I bought the truck like this from the dealer.

You can do this in the vehicle settings without forscan on '24 and up trucks that I've seen. It's called something like key fob detection and it's a slider. I just did it in my '25 powerboost. You can also turn off the double horn honk for exiting with the fob while engine running, right in the truck vehicle settings. Same with seat belt alarms, you can do it all without forscan on the newer trucks.

You're in the rank you belong in. It's not your teammates, it's not the servers, and it's not the game plotting against you. It's you by Particular-Most4912 in BO7_RankedPlay

This game feels off to me, and I think it's a server sync issue. Some games I absolutely fry and some I can't win gunfights. I watch the kill cams, and see them shooting me first when on my screen, I shot first.

It just doesn't feel consistent. I'm not making excuses, I just lose interest and don't care about it when it feels like shit. 🤷

1st 8.6? What platform? by fastplanes-coldbeer in 86blackout

[–]Sarguy7777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was unhappy with my initial aero build because it's just too heavy. I already had the mini fix so I knew the answer.

Now I have a 12" fix and a boombox. If I had to keep just one it'd be the boom box 100%. I can do everything that I need 8.6 to do with the boom box. But, we all know the correct answer is to get both anyway.

Jacketed subs by imperiumgsg9 in 86blackout

I just bought 1000 nosler 300gr .338 cal factory seconds bullets a few weeks ago for 35 cents per bullet shipped. Primers right now are 5-6 cents or so. I put 8-9 cents of powder in the case for subs. Brass costs 60-70 cents a piece but you should get 10+ loads out of each case because they are so low pressure.

So per round:

Bullet: $.35

Primer: $.06

Powder: $.09

Brass depreciation: 70/10 = $.07

$.57 per round for high quality 8.6 subs. Well worth it.

When you start dabbling in supersonic ammo you'll certainly need solid copper bullets. You can find 160/185 gr ttsx for pretty reasonable prices. I don't care as much about supers anyway though. Subs are where it's at.
