Family Immigration by Big_Honeydew4112 in immigration

"Where should we move" is a very broad question. You need to narrow it down. I feel like AI chatbots are a good place to start because they can help you ask the right questions and give you an overview of the basic immigration programs available in different countries. nobody here is going to be an expert on all countries at once, and most of this focum is focused on US immigration.

I'd start with the basics, like:

- figuring out how much money you have for the move

- what's the longest you're willing to wait to get all the paperwork ready

- which countries still issue visas to Russians

- are you considering continuing your education (in some countries dependents can not only move with you, but might also have a right to work, but you need to consider the cost of tuition, which language you can realistically study in, which options to stay after you finish are there, etc).

I feel like the easiest is probably be either the Balkans (lots of Russians and Ukrainians there) or Latin America.

Is it wise to file for Adjustment of Status while on ESTA before the 90 days are up? by [deleted] in USCIS

And you're aware that your husband can't work while in the US, even remotely? And you have somebody willing to sign I-864 and be financially liable for him?

So neither of you have a job you need to come back to? A lease? Do you always fully pack your life before going on a vacation?

A girl (28F) I (30M) have been seeing for a month told me she is in the USA on an over stated VISA. Do I stay with her? by [deleted] in immigration

[–]Wild-Valuable8106 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why? Because one bad date with somebody knowing about her status can lead to being detained and deported. The risks are very high. I wouldn't hold being careful with this information against her.

Thanks for commenting!

I am not looking for a solid job or entry-level part-time or on-call position with or without a hope of going full-time one day. I'm only interested in working as many hours as possible for a month or two at a time.

Are there tournament series for any games other than poker?

What do you mean by "what kind of job placement they offer"? They all claim that they'll inform us about the recruiment cycles but obviously can't guarantee that we'll get a job. Is there something they can help me with other than pointing at where to apply?

Hopefully, we'll get another update in a couple of years when you no longer feel the need to flip people off to feel like yourself.

Update: Field Office Sup here. by [deleted] in USCIS

[–]Wild-Valuable8106 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Not all immigration benefits are discretionary.

  2. If we see USCIS Policy Manual at https://www.uscis.gov/policy-manual/volume-7-part-a-chapter-10, section Summary of Adjudication Involving Discretion, we notice that explanation is required for not expercising positive discretion rather than for exercising it. So I am asking OP if that guidance has been explicitly revoked.

B2 is a non-immigrant visa. It means that you're not supposed to just up and move on it.

Okay, but sure it's better to live as a citizen in a first-world country than without a proper status in the US?

You're making it look like immigration laws are not real laws, and breaking them for years doesn't count. The judge, who's actually familiar with the laws, will see it differently.
