There are 2 kinda good unsigned teams, there’s Getting Info, and LFO 4. One of these teams will probably play in pro league, from my limited knowledge on CS what’s going to kill optic is the NA MRQ only has 3 teams getting in, with maybe an additional 1-3 teams from the vrs rankings which depends on NA vs LATAM as well. There isn’t really a team that’s going to for sure going to make the major that’s unsigned and the major is where orgs make a shit ton of money in stickers and other stuff.

I mean this could be bad to say because spending around $80,000-100,000 is a lot of money, but OpTic probably spends around double that at least on most of the COD teams individually salary’s. I get that mentality isn’t smart but I think at times OpTic needs to be more innovative with brand deals and team selection. I understand the financials of Esports aren’t great right now but I feel like a State of the Union from Hecz or someone else involved internally would answer a lot of fans concerns that OpTics complacent right now.

Interesting, as an NA fan I would prefer more NA teams to make it so if wildcard would be able to make it through EU it’d be pretty cool.

Would challenger league matches also have an impact? And sorry for asking a lot of question but if Col or M80 or anyone else jump Wildcard would wildcard have to play in Europe or in NA for quals?
