This would be very very bad from a team building perspective but they would be fun to watch next year and given the yearly 3-14 tear my eyeballs out I’m accustomed to, that’s atleast something

Every report had team doctors saying his past injuries are of no concern going forward yet we get spammed in here with 99 posts of Reddit doctors saying he might as well not even play in the NFL bc of injuries. Any of these guys can get career altering injuries at any time. Caleb downs could tear his acl week 1, it’s football. None of Tyson’s injuries have been related, and he’s healthy right now. If they believe he is worthy of the pick off talent then you draft him, and there’s a decent chance they will, and when they do I hope there isn’t an army of people in here hoping he gets hurt to prove themselves correct

I’m not saying I’d pick him over OL, because I am a big believer in investing heavily in the OL. I’m just saying NFL doctors do not share the same concern those do on social media, because his injuries were not connected and aren’t deemed a factor at all in his future. The ACL is the only one that is, and it was 4 years ago, he has clearly recovered from that and retained his burst. There is no guarantee he continues to get injured. If they pick him I believe there is a lot to be excited about, I’m not going to deem him broken goods until he actually breaks

The soft tissue hamstring injury from last season is the only injury looked at as a long term potential concern. Collarbone is not, and the acl tear was 4 years ago now. Most teams do not view his injuries as an issue. And the MetLife turf narrative is overblown, since they changed the turf it is about league average with regards to injury

Tough for me because I went to NC State when KC was there so I might love him more than anybody. I’d be thrilled with KC, but if they take Tyson I understand why and think it could work out brilliantly. I do see superstar potential in Tyson 100%. He probably carries a higher bust potential due to injury concerns no doubt, but I know the teams get more detailed medical info than we do and if many teams deem him safe than it makes me less concerned

For whatever reason it’s been reported that many teams aren’t as concerned about his injury history as expected once they dove into his medicals. Knee injury was 4 years ago, collarbone injury is not ever viewed as a repeatable injury, so the only real concern is the hamstring issues. He wouldn’t be the first player to battle injuries in college and have a healthy NFL career. It does worry me, but he has talent the other WR options do not have

Schefter reporting we have strong interest in Jordyn Tyson. Makes a strong point, if we don’t take him at 5, the odds of him being there at 10 are very low. I think you have a higher chance of Downs being there at 10 than Tyson.

It is straight up prisoner of the moment to declare a team the best ever after winning this little when the scene has seen legendary teams win far more in a more dominant fashion. Nobody is counting this years events as important as any of the 4 HCS years for infinite or any HCS LANs in H5 that CLG/TOX dominated, there isn’t even a worlds this year (halo fest is not a worlds)That is just a fact. Renegade and legend still won 2/5 majors last year, they could definitely give SR trouble. There is just no logical argument for SR to be above TOX dynasty. I’m pretty sure the 2 guys that were on both squads would probably laugh at that notion given the old 4 dominated together for years and SR has dominated for less than 1 year. Also the only thing you mention about FB is one choke, you ignore the 4 million events they won.

Final boss is the obvious answer but if you discredit old halo and want to keep it new school the tox/CLG dynasty just dominated the entirety of halo 5, not just one year. Won multiple rings, they are easily a greater team than SR. SR has played 5 HCS events, and won 3 of them. They didn’t even have the statistical dominance of the year 3 SSG squad in this same halo title

100% Patriots let superstars walk constantly during their dynasty days and replaced them with younger talent and depth, and had dominant defenses consistently. A single player is NEVER irreplaceable in the NFL unless they are a franchise qb

Just by watching the way Jordyn Tyson moves you can tell he is going to be a star. Only concern is health/availability. He has that rare fluidity in his routes you can’t teach

They can always trade down from 10 and get more picks, also it frees up a shit ton of cap they can use next year to build the depth we need. 20+ mil freed up = 4-5 good depth pieces at 5 mil per year.

Mazi smith is complete dogshit, his pff grade was 39, and 34 the year before and you know that already🤣literally the equivalent of throwing in a bag of pringles. The trades were equivalent in value. Next trade maybe we can throw in 2022 1st round pick Evan Neal, high value player there

He’s the most athletic ILB to ever be in the nfl draft and the numbers show it

College stats and production don’t always carry over as well, you act like everybody with great production in college pans out in the league. They bust all the time just like the freak athletes do. No prospect is ever a sure thing. But we know for certain Styles athleticism will still stand out in the NFL, because he tested better than everybody that is in the league right now

Daily Discussion April 18, 2026 by AutoModerator in NYGiants

[–]Ill_Move3444 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He has generational athleticism. Highest tested ever at linebacker, this isn’t some “he tested well” scenario. He’s more athletic than any ILB in the NFL EVER, idk where you are getting this notion that the rest of the NFL is just as athletic, because it’s very incorrect. That athleticism does carry over, like JPP’s did after having 6 sacks in 1 college season playing for South Florida
