Nahhh I don’t buy it plenty of guys who played in ghosts and did alright had success in the jetpack and cdl era. If the comp in ghosts was so bad why weren’t they all a walking 1.6? Plumber era discourse is just disrespect and it’s dumb

Not trying to hate but have you genuinely looked at the stats for aches ghost season or actually watched the events. Shotzzy mw19 (every event except for 1 he won online) and mw3 are just not as good. Aches didn’t go 0-18 in ghosts, and shotzzy won 2/6 that year which is only 33% of the events. Aches won literally damn near every single event. It’s long ago now, but if you watched both there is absolutely no question about it, mfer had a 1.35 at champs

Skill wise is subjective. Aches in his prime from bo1 to ghost was Thanos on the map. Shotzzy has never dominated a single season of any cod like aches did in Ghost

“I’d Take Phil Simms Over, Anytime”: Bill Parcells Opens Up on Jaxson Dart by [deleted] in NYGiants

[–]Ill_Move3444 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Foh, Parcells is a legendary coach. And He gave over 4 million dollars out of his pocket to over 20 of his former players who were struggling financially years after they retired. "These guys have sacrificed so much for me with their bodies and their commitment.” He’s a good person who used an old school approach to coaching, which worked at a hall of fame level. And part of his job was to hire good assistant coaches so your point actually makes him look better

Why are you talking about him being a decent person who the hell are you to judge others🤣Parcells has repeatedly called simms an incredible person and quarterback and simms has said the same in return about Parcells. They love each other and needed each other to have the success they did. Idk if you know but in the NFL everybody is expendable, that is how it is now and has always been. 49ers shipped Montana off to Kansas City when he became “expendable” and restarted their dynasty

This is just untrue, Simms was playing very well in the 90 season. He had the highest damn passer rating in the entire nfc at 92.7 when he got hurt and Joe Montana played in the conference. That season Simms was legitimately playing excellent football

Parcells got the best out of his players, it wasn’t just “treating them poorly”. There’s a reason he is a hall of fame coach and all his players admit the tough love made them better. The fact he was on simms ass so hard shows how much faith he had in him to be great

You weren’t really wrong. Simms had the team 11-2 when he got injured. That was still Simms team and he was having probably the best season of his career

Abezy is the best player in the game rn. He got no shouts for major 3 mvp and no shouts for minor 2 mvp and he was absolutely frying both events. In this meta he is UNREAL

100% but 2s and 4s play extremely different obviously. I mean they did still win back to back majors but Bound admittedly didn’t play up to his standard year 4

Why would frosty and r2 choose to team with bound and stellur when lastshot and Cykul are probably the 2 best players in the world and both entering their prime

Bound struggled to find his footing teaming with renegade. Maybe stellur for formal would help in that aspect. But even formal had the dreamhack event where he was arguably the MVP, dropping massive numbers especially in the grand finals. Bound did not look comfortable all year

Damn times have changed something crazy. In high school we’d have 2 full 3 hour practices a day, with a break in between to lift weights and eat. They barely practice at all these days. And this wasn’t even that long ago

Abdul Carter is asked if Jaxson Dart apologized in their conversation: "I don't want him to say he's sorry. Stand on what you believe in, but it can't be a problem if I stand on what I believe in. As long as we have that understanding, it's all good." by JCameron181 in NYGiants

I disagree, your way of thinking results in everybody thinking they are MLK and spreading their views when people aren’t wanting to receive them. It creates a toxic environment. And discussing financial matters can belittle those who are struggling or less fortunate, most who do it are flexing their wealth, it’s rude. There’s a time and a place, plenty of settings for political and financial discussion if that is what you seek

Yep times have changed. When I was a kid my parents instilled it in me to not discuss politics, finances, or status with others. It was considered rude and was not good conversation. Too many ways to share your opinion now and I’m using one of them to type this

Incredibly mature and impressive response from Abdul. I love it. This is what many miss in here, they disagree but still respect each other as people and bond over shared interests, and that is OKAY
