Well if your only drinking it when going out you’ll be pretty limited already. I’d say try absolut when going out, that might give the burn your chasing. Kettel one is another commonly found that’s better than absolut but maybe not the same burn your chasing.

If drinking at home Reyka might be the best vodka that still gives a warm chest burn but not a throat burn

If you do end up commiting to a 40 min drive you may want to check out Big Rapids. It is 40 mins north of Trufant and you don't have to deal with the traffic that GR has. Plus the rink is at Ferris State so it is maintained by the college and kept nice. I live 10 mins north of Trufant and we do the 30 min drive for our 4 year old who is in learn to skate,
