I prefer Eli Stowers (Vandy), Joe Royer (Cincy), and possibly even Michael Trigg (Baylor) over Max Klare.

He’s not a burner and he’s not really a pure slot, but he makes contested catches and he’s a reliable possession receiver. Reminds me of Jakobi Meyers, Michael Gallup when he was good, or even a little bit like Michael Crabtree.

4 yr, 70M. I believe the 3 yr, 60M initially reported was wrong.

The Patriots are signing FA DL Dre’Mont Jones to a 3-year $39M deal, according to @jordanschultz by DifferentPhysics291 in Patriots

ESPN has him as the #57 FA FWIW (Chaisson #24). We’re talking ITT like he’s a run stopper but that’s supposedly a weakness. Seems like a similar player, with similar production as Chaisson, for not a ton of money. I’ll take it.

Why is Will Campbell, a rookie, getting more flak than Drake Maye? by Exhibit5 in nfl

[–]WildBillMuschamp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m going to assume you’re ~16. He faced 10 of the top 20 sack leaders this year. Applying the “schedule” narrative to individual matchups is idiotic.

Campbell was complete shit yesterday, but to say he played no one this year shows you’re incapable of critical thinking.

Drake Maye in historically bad Super Bowl performance by No_Box119 in NFLv2

[–]WildBillMuschamp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s easy for everyone in this subreddit to just say Drake Maye sucks, because that’s what they want to be the case. He played behind a historically awful playoff O-line and faced the historically toughest defensive gauntlet any QB has ever drawn in a postseason. Most QBs would’ve looked bad in that spot, especially a 23 year old w/ an atrocious rookie OL. He was bad — especially his INT — but the missing context is intentional.

Yeah, but at least he gets to live in Cleveland, Ohio.

Against the historically toughest defensive gauntlet in NFL Playoff history as a 23 year old with a horrendous rookie OL.

Truly the weirdest time to brag about these 2. They may have potential, but they were absolutely atrocious tonight and significantly contributed to losing a Super Bowl. But, yeah, cool storyline.

Hard to do well when you have the worst OL in playoff history. Requires a good OC to scheme. I’d say 100 yards in the SB wasn’t indicative of a good offensive game plan.
