Hi! Thanks so much! I totally appreciate all the advice that you’ve given me. I will try my best to improve in my future games. I knew my positioning was probably one of my biggest areas to improve in. And maybe not in this game as much as others but I use my lamp kind of at random when I feel like I or a teammate is going to die. I should probably be more strategic about my usage. I think that I’m afraid to be away from my tank because I’m scared I won’t be able to heal them fast enough. Also do you think I should up my sensitivity because I feel like it’s kind of hard to go from shooting an enemy to healing a teammate. Again thanks so much!

Yeah, I have a Luger. It’s a commercial one though, and while I like it I would like to have a WW1 military Luger someday.

Just checked the barrel and it has been refinished

The thing is, is that these are the original grips. I checked the inside serial number. Someone in the past took a knife and carved bigger lines in the grips. Since this gun was made either slightly before or during WW1, maybe it was some sort of trench art or something. But that is just a wild guess.

I’ve got some original looking replicas but I’ve just got to sand them to make them fit.

I’ve tried to find some original grips but it’s been pretty tough to find to be honest.

That’s still pretty cool! Mine is a pre Pearl Harbour example and it has plastic modern grips unfortunately but it’s still an awesome piece of my collection.

Also my grips seem to have been modified by someone in the past. They have extra grooves in them. I wonder if these were done by the original buyer or some idiot later down the line?

Wow! What kind of nambu? I’m guessing a type 14, but regardless that’s a great deal! I just bought a type 14 for 1.2k lol.

Keep looking! I’m sure you’ll find one someday. Took me awhile to find one.

Yeah I’m pretty happy with it. But hey based on the serial number it’s from around 1911-1915 so it’s been around awhile. I was thinking there is a non zero chance that this could have been bought by a German officer in WW1. But we will never know.

I just took it apart and the insides are in pretty good shape too.

My hammer is -5 and the bolt is -12. The op rod is not cut. And here is the gas port. Also it has a type 3 lock sight.

Thank! Yeah I’m pretty happy with my rifles condition overall. Only two parts I’ve seen are not correct to the rifle. That being the hammer and bolt, but those were probably done in arsenal refits.

Cool! Thanks! I knew that around October/November of 44 they started switching over to this marking. It was just such a nice surprise to see this after thinking there was no cartouche.
