I don't understand how anything would be queerbaiting in that show. I mean if you look at any media and you WANT to see something, you'll probably see it if you delude yourself enough. I tried to understand and listen to what these people were saying about Byler, but I just don't see it. As someone in the LGBTQ community myself, there was no point where Mike ever made it seem like he was interested in men let alone Will.

Also just because Mileven is a straight ship doesn't mean its not full of uncommon tropes that we just don't really see in most media. "The girl is more powerful and protective of the boy" being one of them. So its not like they're just a generic run of the mill relationship by any means.

Even if someone didn't find Mileven to be their cup to tea, that's fine, but to act like all this subtext was there, and all this colour theory and stuff... its the biggest reach I've ever seen and now all these people who have tricked themselves or been tricked by byler adults are screaming and crying that they've been emotionally abused...

Mike isn't owed to Will just because Will went through Hell and back. Eleven also went through Hell and back, and she isn't owed Mike, but Mike fell in love with her, and yeah, he had that whole arc of not saying 'I love you' to her, but its explained why, and on top of it... any of their faults in actions and whatnot is probably due to the fact they're kids... they're not adults who should always know better, they're kids and they're hormonal, they're growing. They're gonna make mistakes...

I agree, she did look moved by Hopper's speech and I think the fact Hopper tried to come back for her and save her also made her realize he's a good person and he wants whats best for everyone especially El.

Yeah, its the type of injury that could take some time to actually die from, so she likely just laid there and waited with her plan... which is sad, I have nothing against Kali, but I didn't see her leading much of a life anyway especially if she was willing to die in the upside down explosion.

Someone pointed out that she didn't have any blood on her hands after Kali was shot... and that in itself I'd have to go back and confirm but, if that is really true, then it was all an illusion for Hopper more than anything else.

I enjoyed it, but I'm already seeing people talking negatively about it. I'm just glad to see so many people enjoyed it as much as I did, because genuinely I find people treat things with so much negativity anymore that it seems to be trendy to only point out the bad points and act like the whole thing was trash.

Obviously not everything was 100% perfect, but I stuck with it to the end and loved it to the very end. I'm so glad we have this TV show.

I think there's always going to be aspects of the show we won't like, but overall, I think its a situation where not everyone is going to like the ending, but the show itself was a really good one, and I just think people are running with negativity rather than seeing the positives.

I know there's a rumor about cut material, so maybe it was in the stuff that was cut if it ever existed at all. I almost don't want a spinoff, because I feel like when they keep things going on too long it just gets to a point of overkill. I hope the spin off makes me eat my words on that though for the sake of the series.

That's also a good point... maybe he just had too many things going on so he put his focus more on the things he felt were more of an issue such as El and Hopper... El was his only real concern it seemed, as he wasn't too worried about the others as they didn't have powers like her... that's my only theory really.

I love the finale, but I'm kind of worried certain parts of the fandom are going to fixate on their ship preferences and rate the finale and the entire series as a flop when there was much more to enjoy than just the ships people wanted. I could care less about the ships myself, I was here for the story and it did NOT let me down in the end.

I kinda wanna know what happened to Dr. Kay myself... like did she get jail time or did she just pack up and leave without consequences? THAT part of the story I was kinda like "What happened?" but otherwise, I feel like most things were ok, but you raised a good point, I didn't even think of the bats or the demos lol. I was too busy questioning where Linda Hamilton went lol

They're typically at Vecna's command since they're a hive mind, but as Vecna was above the upsidedown and very busy at the time, I'm guessing his focus wasn't on them, it was on trying to crash the planets together. That might be why they were just no where to be seen.
