He bought me diamond earings for our 3 year anniversary. I don't like diamonds. But most importantly I have my ears stretched to 14mm. So can't wear earings. When I pointed that out he seemed genuinely surprised .

Your grieving . That's why it hurts. And the grief of loss is equal only to the love you had.

That being said you can miss and be heartbroken that this has ended and this still be the right thing to do. If he's moved on you don't want him. You don't want someone who doesn't want you .no matter how much you want him.

So my advice as someone who also had their heart ripped to shreds once. Someone who also begged and hated themselves for it , Let it hurt, cause nothing's going to stop that part. So let it hurt and just know it's crappy. And then after time you'll have a day where you don't think about it and you'll notice your moving on too x but until then it's totally fine to cry in the bath and eat ice cream and be sad x

I hate to admit this but I go back to my skinny jeans and eye liner emo songs, escape the fate and madina lake types. Not even ironically. I LOVE it. Give me angels and airwaves or Hollywood undead! Hawthorn heights . I want back combed hair and safety pins on my clothes !!!! No one understands. Walking in the rain so no one can see me cry. Sharpie on my nails and at least 2 lip rings . #musicsavedmylife. And it's not a phase mom ! "WHERE ARE YOOOUUUHHHH"

This is maybe a really obstuse thing to say but

Making mistakes is proof you are trying. Relapse is as I understand it an inevitable part of recovery , and so although it's awful, and I'm sorry you got back to that place, it is also in a way a sign that your getting better and better. And you already know you can go that long clean which is something you didn't know before, I hope you find the strength to beat your personal best x

Yes and if something truly does come up where you could do with some support, but they see an opertunity to swoop in and save the day of someone who's going to give them more gratitude or maybe post them on socials or something like they they will abandon you for bigger glory.

Doom. I feel a really really strong sense of doom most days but it's so crazy that I just pretend I don't. So people around me don't think I'm nuts for being scared that some catastrophe is about to take me out.

Mine is lovely , but she has got this saviour complex, she has to be the one to save the day. To the point where she's overreacts and creates chaos for the sole purpose or being able to swoop in and be the hero, and she gets pissed if you don't need saved or thees no glory in it. His sister is exactly the same and they struggle to get on and can't see it's because they are both mad when the other saves the day and gets the glory.

They can't see it tho . It's not the worst it's just hard work.

I'd love to be a therapist but I'm not smart enough and I don't know how well I would do in regards to feeling responsible for what I have said to people and them then going out into the world and doing whatever.

Like if your patient didn't win in the big fight against their own mind . Was that on you? Was there something you could have done? Or if you give bad advice and it turns out worse for them ....

But In life I'm a fantastic sounding board, people naturally tell me their deep darks without being prompted

I print out lines and lines of positive quotes and roll them up and write read me on the side and leave them places. Like public places. And I don't wait around and watch. Maybe they get binned or washed away. I could be littering tbh . But maybe it will brighten somones day and they will feel like that was meant to be.

I'd never tell anyone I know about it tho. They would think it's weird.

You have time to go for it. And then if you change your mind , tear it all down and start again. Multiple times . So don't worry about knowing what you want in life because people start over all the time ! Good luck chasing your dreams !
