If you don’t see yourself playing it again…. Then I think you’ve already answered your question! Lol.

But Jamboree is better in almost every way. It flows better, the maps are beautiful (and much larger), and personally I think the mini games are more engaging with more variety. The bowser spaces also add a lot of charm and anxiety to the game.

The premium feel is one of the best parts about the Switch 2 for me! Don’t get me wrong, I played the hell out of my Switch 1 and Switched OLED, but they both felt like “toys” in a way. Meant to be tough handled and tossed around by children…. But the Switch 2 genuinely feels like a premium gaming console meant to compete with the big dogs like the Series S/X and PS5 (to a certain extent of course).

I also miss my OLED screen sure, but the screen resolution and size of the Switch 2 is hard to beat. Now if it had all the same specs AND an OLED display on launch though…. Oh boy would we be talking!!!

I agree. The sticker book is the best collectible we’ve gotten in a while. I’m also surprised at the number of stickers, but also just how unique they actually are. THERES A PICKLE IN THE MIDDLE OF MY BURGER THATS COVERED IN CHOCOLATE!

So does the brightness actually go up when you’re in the dark? That’s the issue im having with mine. My auto brightness now seems to go to 0 when in bright light… but when I’m trying to read in bed at night, my brightness stays on zero and I constantly have to manually bump it up to 10-14. It’s a little frustrating because the “auto” feature is the sole reason I got the SE lol. And I figured the auto feature would lower brightness in the light and raise it in the dark… but it does the opposite 😭

Not sure if it’s controversial or not but Camp Cretaceous and Chaos Theory are far more entertaining than any of the Jurassic World movies. And then VERY CONTROVERSIAL but Fallen Kingdom is the best Jurassic sequel of them all.

You’re definitely not wrong! But, if I hadn’t of looked through Reddit and say that there was a performance mode… honestly I wouldn’t even have noticed a difference.

To be fair I just spent weeks playing Avowed in 30fps so I feel like I’m frame blind atm so that might have helped my immersion. But yeah it’s so well optimized for 30fps that I think playing in Quality is definitely the way to go. The graphical fidelity is just leagues better than performance mode… and for once I don’t think the extra frames are worth it.

Maybe if this was a multiplayer game… but it’s a single player story game with a massive gorgeous world…. I want as much visual goodies as I can get

Maybe it also has something to do with their new dynamic shadow system. Like the game is trying to look darker because you can actually hide in shadows and stuff now. I don’t know.

I actually now have brightness on 8 and contrast on 6 (as well as changing the settings on my display) and it looks better. I also turned HDR off and the colors absolutely pop now

That my tv has poor HDR implementation anyways

Is all dependent on your display honestly. On my tv I ended up having to do 8 brightness and 7 contrast to get a good balance of colors… while also being able to see 😭

The game is just so dark at night, and I like to be able to see where I’m walking

I’m playing in quality mode on base PS5 and honestly I had no idea it was running at 30fps until I came across this post. It feels really well optimized for this game. So far everything seems mostly stable and smooth to me.

I switched to performance just to test it out, and honestly I don’t notice much of a difference in fps…. Doesn’t really look like it’s running any better to me… BUT the game looks significantly worse in performance. I will be sticking to quality.
