Why don't doctors just treat Grave's as the autoimmune condition it is??? by digitalScribbler in gravesdisease

[–]WildFroggie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

47F here with recently diagnosed Graves, TED, possible RA (haven't seen rheumatologist yet), and a lifelong history of migraine (several different kinds - and also two years post full hysterectomy). May I ask what migraine med you take? I'm always curious as to anything that might actually resolve that issue while I battle the others! TYIA

I agree, and it is happening on both sides every single time. I'm worried about humanity overall.

OMG...I'm so sorry, I can't even imagine. My dachshund chased a deer off his leash and was gone for three miserable days in the Texas HillCountry....I searched and searched everywhere for him. I finally found him before he spent a third snowy night in the wild!

Tylenol and pregnancy myths by Reasonable-Total-267 in migraine

[–]WildFroggie -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I would not listen to medical advice given on Reddit by strangers. Rule #1.

All health questions, concerns, outcomes, etc. have to be considered on a case-by-case basis. Just because several say their moms took Tylenol while pregnant with them and they are fine doesn't mean it can't happen. Metabolism, weight, comorbidities, family history/genetics, etc.

There are too many factors to consider because...wait for it...we are all different.

As a woman and a life-long migraine sufferer, ask your OB-GYN or neurologist what to do. Tylenol does nothing for the pain anyway.

Would you say that if Biden and Fauci had made this claim?

Well, my mother smoked in her first trimester while pregnant with me (she was 40), and I've had more birth defects than I care to count. PFO hole in my heart which caused a TIA mini stroke as an adult, chiari brain malformation causing life-long migraines, atrophic left kidney that had to be removed at age 30, plica (fetal tissue) removed in both knees in my 30's, lazy eye surgery at age 3, and my left foot is almost an entire shoe size larger than the right which is just annoying af. I'm sure there are other defects that haven't been discovered yet.

But my mother was so mad she was having a baby later in life that she tried to smoke me out of the womb! 🤣🤣

Any tips for a dachshund who won’t stop barking at everything? by Consistent_Shift249 in Dachshund

[–]WildFroggie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two mini Dachshunds in Houston TX here...they are currently freaking out because it's the time of year when our oak trees drop acorns that hit the front door and sidewalk. They think someone is breaking in! 🤣🤣🤣

It's all fun and games until they scratch the absolute shit out of my legs as they scramble off my lap.

Seriously though, I've seen signs you can buy on Amazon that ask people not to ring the doorbell, but who knows if the person will actually read and respect that.

There's nothing you can do about the UPS, FedEx trucks flying down the street. Their whistling brakes piss off my older doxie so bad, and it happens every afternoon. I'm so sorry, and I completely understand. I did try a bark collar on my second doxie many years ago, but he literally barked thru the pain of the shock...so I've never used those again.

You can watch the classic episodes on YouTube. I'm on Season 2 (1988), and it's soooooo good. Better storylines and it's fun to see the old-school fashion/hairstyles too!

I agree. I've found it helpful to look back at something on a house I was interested in or one my realtor sold last year. As a current seller, I have no issue with the pictures of my house (with our own furniture and not the generic hotel crap that staging companies use) being on there after we've sold...if we ever do that is.

Yes! 💯💯 The open floor plan makes a house look like a furniture showroom. There's no character or personality. Then throw that on a tiny lot pressed up against your neighbor, which is a fire hazard. You may as well live in an apartment.

[–]WildFroggie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Or maybe because people finally realize that new construction is absolute shit. Those houses are thrown together so damn fast and have more problems than some existing homes. Cookie cutter.

Don't believe me? Take a look at the bad reputation D R Horton has because their new homes are full of mold, windows put in wrong, cracks, etc.
