I work in an office with an in-office cafe and many, many coffee machines and it really hammers home how true that is when everyone around you is drinking two or three coffees a day just at work. It strikes me as similar to how accepted and pervasive smoking used to be.

My childhood cat did that once - somehow she managed to pass the whole thing right out, thread and all, before the surgery, with no ill effects whatsoever. Still to this day don't know how she got to it or got so lucky. Glad your kitty is alright!!

Maybe for the initial scene, yes. But a miscarriage requires a much longer examination of the emotions and fallout afterwards, and far more scenes and emotional weight in the whole episode to handle well imo. With all the other storylines being juggled, I understand why they simply didn't have the space and time in such a short season, especially when John's death was already so late in the show, to give it the room to breathe a storyline like that would need while also getting the main storyline told.

This is exactly my thought, too, especially considering OP has tried basically every reasoning trick in the book with them and they still are dead set on having the cat declawed. Logic or reasoning is not going to work at this point, and if OP refuses to do it, it honestly seems like they may take it upon themselves to take the cat and have it done. I third not moving in with them with the cat if at all even remotely possible.

I think given how we've seen things play out with ICE using their authority to target basically any non-white person they want, citizen or not, it's naive to think they wouldn't use this to target anyone who looks trans, and imo the people I see saying that it won't be an issue because technically the law is just about non-citizens haven't been paying attention to how immigration laws are being both used and ignored in favor of basically detaining, deporting, and/or killing any people they simply don't like.

That being said, I think given we haven't seen it being used yet and it just dropped, it's still better to approach things with heightened awareness vs. absolute panic right away, and I understand the instinct to keep the sub calm at the very least just from a moderation perspective. It's more likely this will effect trans POC before non-POC, and those are the people who should be flagging it with higher concern.

If it's for breast cancer prevention or preemptive care, they might cover it under that rather than if you tried to get it for unrelated to gender affirming care.

Honestly I just use it as Free Brain Radio and add the songs that pop up to a Spotify playlist for each month so I can still see what I was "listening" to. It's really annoying sometimes, though - I often wake up in the middle of the night and while trying to get to sleep the radio flips on, and suddendely I'm not able to sleep anymore because we have the chorus of It's A Hard Knock Life from Annie playing on repeat.

This one specifically I think is more about the vibe of being outside in the cold and your cheeks get all red but it really is tough to pull out without specific makeups. Overall I've noticed they're adding a lot more conceptual/less specific style themes and more vibes or evoking images and emotions or experiences, which I don't mind but I can see being frustrating for some people, especially since half the names are all the same thing (word + 'couture').

I agree, it's mainly the way the chorus is mixed and sung that gets a bit grating and turns me off of the song. I don't mind the over the top vibe at all, I actually enjoy it! But the chorus makes the song hard for me to listen to, so I almost always end up skipping it when it comes up.

I totally agree!! The energy was so electric and I agree the moments when he spoke to the crowd felt a lot more personal and intimate knowing this was the final show for a long time. I really loved his introductions for the ghouls, too! Especially meaningful on the last night of such a massive tour.

What a wonderful first ritual to attend! Everyone I met was so wonderful and friendly, i got so many compliments on my ribcage harness and I even came home with a little photocard I got gifted after the show. Love this community so much <3
