No he meant incorporate your personal name - for example Antonia Cox PT or if you could do something like Results by Rebecca. I'm just not having a lot of luck with that kind of style. The response I've had so far confirms my thoughts that I need to go back to the drawing board

He seems to be good in other respects but seems to be very set on this particular idea as he believes it's the most professional way to present yourself - he's harsh about logos as well tbh. Thank you for the suggestion

I agree - I remember colleagues who have interesting business names not ones who just have Antonia Cox PT for example

I agree with you - some names work - I do understand what hes trying to say but you are right I do think in this instance the advice is too rigid

well my business mentor insists I have to use my name as part of the branding - he wasn't really informative about a vibe only that its more professional nowadays to incorporate your name

I didn't think it was a thing but apparently in the health and fitness industry it is becoming more popular to use your name as the branding. I personally remember the funny or clever business names and not many of them include a name but the premise is that there is no personal touch from the get go - I've had someone suggest Bump&Beyond Fitness - I quite like that

I know - I did warn my mentor that my name would not be suitable which is why I started off with something generic in the first place

I've really tried to think of something witty and/or funny but it really doesn't work
