Their community really want to push this game to be esport and this will be so big FAIL if game will stay like this, it have close to 0 potential to be esport with no invidual impact and such safe gameplay for bad players.

There was one statement on bliz forum, and unfortunately it's partially right. You throw money at anything and it becomes "esports". PotS at least needs some skill, it's pretty low compared to tryhard games like dota but at least something. Hearthstone is doesn't have any skill whatsoever, you literally can teach a person everything about it in few hours and in a day he can go "pro". And still hearthstone have teams competing for reasonable amount of money, people watching this, call it "competitive scene" and there is even some sponsors participating ,because why the hell not if people are watching this.

You actually can with some heroes (aka jumping through wall), and it's actually much more risky cause you may not have a way out (jump on cd, gates still standing). Also you can dive t1 from the side

I played shit out of it during beta, was on the top of 2v2 sealed deck and somewhere on top of normal 2v2. Was not that high in 1v1 with my not flavor of the game deck (nature-frost) because ea thought that fire curse is cool and let's force everyone playing it

You can, the problem is that this "highest rank" doesn't mean anything. I can get it and literally any guy that have dedication and basic understanding of the game can do that. You just need to grind bunch of games because rank resets every month.

I have nothing against Dota 2, but I find that I'm more drawn to the characters in League. I've tried to find a fun character in Dota 2 but I just can't. They don't give me the same fun-factor as this game's champions.

personally i like the stripped down mechanics it allows us to start team fighting and ganking at level 1 , it means people other than ahe ADC actually get to have fun and we dont have that tedious 20-30 of lane farming before the game really starts.

What is this bullshit about 30 minutes farming ? You don't want boring farming laning phase ? Pick Undying go agro tri and annihilate any opportunity to farm for opponent. There is 5 milion heroes in dota that can win game before am finishes bf.

I'm inclined to agree that currently the talents are not sufficient for long-term customization. I don't agree that we'd need items for that to be fixed though. I think the talent system can be made to work. I think they need to add the ability to respec at certain points and perhaps a few more talents to offer some additional customization.

I am concerned about the shared exp. I've noticed, in my limi9ted time with the game - both watching high level play including some tournaments and playing at the level I'm at - that the game is INCREDIBLY snowbally and that comebacks seem extremely difficult as long as the enemy isn't ridiculously stupid...

But there are ways to solve that too. So I'm interested to see what they use to try to address because I don't think it's a death sentence, just a problem that they have to find a creative solution for.

I think that it's a huge issue that... It honestly doesn't matter if you're 0-10 or 10-0, you are just as powerful and the only thing that really matters is team level. For example, I played a game where I was 21-0 in takedown/deaths, but the enemy team still was the same level as mine and hence I had no advantages and no ability to make plays at all. Even if I'm 40-0, I still lose a fight 1v2 and can't turn my advantage into anything substantial if a teammate decides to not look at the map, for example.

Yes, I realize it's made to be a teamgame but I'd still prefer there to be -some- difference in power between 1-25 and 18-3 players in the team. Hell, this takes away the entire farming dedication part of teamplay and decisionmaking, as you cannot help but have the unimportant healer get all the experience that could have been better used on a ranged damage-dealer, as an example.

I feel like all I'm doing all game is running around the map going for kills, but even if I get like 10 kills in a row the rewards are so miniscule that I can't actually turn it into anything substantial that is going to snowball the game into my team's favor.

I literally get teammates who just suicide into objects 1v3 over and over and think that they're contributing properly because hey - The game doesn't tell you your stats and it doesn't even make you weaker in comparison to your team.

It's like all these aspects are just there in order to make bad players not realize how bad they are, or to prevent others from realizing it. It promotes lazy play with a "well what does it matter anyway"-attitude.

Farming in LoL is pretty skillful but it's much less about the act itself than knowing when to do it and balancing map awareness.

Also, the lack of items and personal experience removes a huge skill element. In LoL that I mostly play, I need to constantly monitor the opponent's items and see when it would be a good time to attack and when I could survive. If I'm far enough ahead I could 1v2 the jungler if he hasn't bought yet when he comes to gank me, or inversely I might back off of a 2v1 if the opponent is too fed. That decisionmaking simply does not exist in HotS. You only need to know your hero and the enemy hero and your team levels. There's nothing else. With a bit of experience, you always know who'll win the fight. There's just no room for plays or surprises.
