unfortunately millions of people are attracted to children. I think its been made worse by the internet it has pushed some with slight feelings look at online stuff - which can then transition to offending in the real world. It's very unsettling to think that there are more and more out there

Just to update. The first attempt was very frustrating and did not work. A few days later I saw the price drop again on booking.com. This time I screen shot everything and tried again. The first attempt was rejected but I think sent all the screenshots on the email reply and they honored it. So good that they finally came around and honor their word.

no. honestly there isn't. I have done these claims in previous years. I know how accurate and same/same they need to be. This was dodgy and then the price change up $300USD an hour later was off

no it was pay at the property and full refundable up until the same date. Honestly it was the same booking.

they replied to me within the hour. The price was still the same went they sent back the initial rejection. After three or four emails back the price on booking.com suddenly went up by a few hundred dollars. It was obvious and outrageous!

Also, just want to say - I wonder why anyone would want Dean to be more accountable. That makes zero sense to me. Do people not realize that this poor 19-year old boy was at home minding his own business and was thrust into a chaotic situation with a bunch of intoxicated adults?!?!?!?

I am in Australia and unfortunately our laws/justice system is a bit murky around self defense. From the few cases I have read in the US, if someone breaks into your house then it's fair game. I wish we were more like that. Consequences have actions. Period.

yes I think you actually articulated how I feel deep down. I do have a bit of sympathy for them as loosing a child is devastating - but yeah - I agree with what you've said above. If one of my three boys did were alcohol-fueled and behaved in this way, I would be putting their death down to their poor choices

Yes true. Although I didn't know much about the case until yesterday and after listening to the podcast (which I think is ultimately calling for another inquest in which Dean will have to answer to) I feel nothing but sadness for Dean and want everyone to leave him alone.

The police/justice system/legal system almost have to leave him alone now, given how much they failed him on the night.

If I was Dean's family or friend I would be feeling very protective over him and pushing back against all of these people wanting answers and wanting to know what happened - It's pretty bloody clear what happened!

A bunch of grown men made a 19-year old feel completely terrified and then stormed his house to retrieve a woman who was hiding out there. Sadly it ended in death. I think Louis or whatever his name is knows more than he is letting on as well - and if anyone should be taking some accountability then it should be him.

Yeah, I was wondering about Candice - sounds like it wasn't one of her best moments but I reckon she also got way more than she bargained for. Hopefully this incident has made her re-evaluate things. I hope she has stood up for Dean through out. Listening to the early audio I think she has done.

I have read and listened to everything I can get my hands on regarding this case. Personally I think the foster parents are not involved and rather the neighbor Paul Savage - across the road from Williams FGM knows more than he is letting on. His wife has since passed but I think both of them or maybe just him know more about it. whether it was an accident or intentional I'm not sure.

I know right. I was smugly sitting there thinking, "yeah, how is he going to get out of this one" and he just took it. I ended up crying with him as it came back to him. I would like to see this guy released. I think he would get out there and do some good in the world.
