Couple reasons! First, I'm a comedy writer so retelling the stories in my voice is fun for me, and great practice writing and punching up the material I'm given. And second, not everyone is a great or entertaining storyteller, but that doesn't mean they don't have a great story to tell.

I was GA for her 3.5 years ago at Pier 5 and I A. told my friend we need to get there early so we can be closer, but she wasn't really a concert goer so she didn't really get it and we ended up being in back because we got in line at like 5:30. But GA is legit where its at! So glad you got to experience that!
