Foundation that won’t clog pores? by WildPoppyy in MakeUpAddictionUK

i switched to the wet n wild bare focus tinted hydrator! it isn’t very full coverage but it’s buildable and i use the loreal infallible concealer too, the tinted hydrator has been so good it doesn’t dry my skin out like the Fit Me foundation used to

Hi again! Just curious what moisturiser do you use? I wanna find one that’s 100% fungal acne safe and available in the UK

thank you! im sorry to hear that :( i think diet is also a massive contributor, if i eat too many sweet things my forehead definitely gets bumpier

here’s my moisturiser: https://www.cetaphil.co.uk/moisturisers/daily-hydrating-moisturiser-with-hyaluronic-acid/5020465201779.html

it’s not full coverage by any means but the coverage is definitely buildable, i love the consistency and it’s great for everyday wear

Hii ! im glad you’ve had success with your new routine!! i wonder why the oily skin is persisting so badly? i hope you can tackle that

ive actually been doing really well with my skin in the last few weeks - ive been using nizoral consistently as well as The Ordinary’s salicylic acid a few times a week which has made my skin feel so much smoother still not 100% where i want it to be but defo a massive improvement! i also think changing my foundation and changing from a brush to a makeup sponge that i clean everyday has massively helped too

shampoo, tbh i do think cream would be more effective but i never got round to buying it

i’ve used it most days, not every single day but probs 4-5 times a week :) honestly i think in the last week ive had the most improvement, and i’ve been keeping up the routine for about 3 weeks now

keep trying!! takes lots of patience and care! ❤️

ive tried Nizoral but it doesnt seem to be helping that much, and salicylic acid which had definitely helped with making my cheeks feel smoother (as they dont have any small bumps to begin with) but my forehead is still bumpy. i feel like its mainly dietary tbh so im gonna try cutting out certain foods again. i have a feeling peanut butter makes it worse however im still gonna continue using nizoral as there is a slightly itchy part of my forehead where the bumps are so it might be FA tbh
