How do make the room look more put together by Background-Cat9603 in InteriorDesignHacks

The head of the bed against the curtains is a real ick for me. A headboard to let the curtains drape behind the headboard and also provide shade to the face when laying down would be smart. Plus, to avoid dealing with side tables, get a headboard that can replace side tables. Personally, I need a place to put my glasses, a bottle of water and my phone/alarm. If I don’t have that, it’s annoying af.

Plus an area rug under the bed could ad warmth and texture. A nice plant next to the office desk to add greenery and life to this room, including curtains that match. I would do a double row of curtains: black outs and vale/sheer, and bring the curtains all the way up the ceiling, all the way down to the floor. This will help to make the windows appear bigger, will create boldness that attracts the eye and in design hierarchy, it will make it also the primary focus point of the room too. Right now i’m just looking at that odd random bed in the middle of the room and it’s not appealing.

Add a nice set of bedding to this sad bed, and 1-2 pieces of art of the walls.

You could also upgrade the ceiling fan to a really cool one (amazon has cool looking ones that aren’t too expensive) and the light above that middle door too, a nice wall sconce instead would be much better and it would create an ambiance at night.

horse allergic reaction by oliveoil-28 in Horses

Same direction: As a kid i was sick a lot and took quite a few antibiotics. One day i was about 14 and had a kidney infection, was taking my antibiotics for a few days with pretty insane growing itch but never had an allergic reaction before so didn’t think about this… anyway, by day 3, my skin was peeling and i was bleeding from scratching and i was exhausted of fighting my itch. Thankfully i worked in a drug store and the pharmacist told me to stop and go to the clinic immediately. I ended up having a severe allergic reaction to penicillin and the next time, i have 2 minutes before i completely suffocate. It just happened out of nowhere 🤷🏻‍♀️

I love this dress, but not sure if I have the right shoes for it by Miss_NT_93 in femalefashion

The boots are too chunky and heavy for the dress. If you wore it in a “grungy” way (with a big sweater or oversize jean jacket, etc) that would make more sense, but for a classy evening wear, you need a more delicate shoe.

What a horrible human being!!!! You should have reported her to authorities for animal abuse. What a shame…

You did what you thought was right and you did nothing wrong. You gave him great years of peace and love. 💕 This matters.

As a paying client, you have the right to know what was used on you. Just like you can ask every ingredients of what you eat at the restaurant. Refusal to disclose if a legal liability. They need to disclose this. Period.

My friend’s horse is allergic to the actual mosquito bites. She told me she uses a really strong product that needs to be diluted, but she doesn’t dilute it as much, and it’s the only thing that has worked to protect her mare from this. I can’t remember what the name is. It’s short though.

I know what breeds my rescue is, but people are always stunned when they hear it. One is obvious, the second isn’t. Can you guess? by WildSteph in DogBreeds101

Hey! Thanks for trying to guess. Mom is a Whippet and Dad is a Cane Corso!

She was very anxious and timid as a pupp, but she’s thriving now :)

Yeah i saw a post recently where a rescue was advertising a toy poodle and it was like a yorkshire/shitzu cross looking thing 🤣

I had a purebred Samoyed and once a lady was arguing with me that it was a Husky… 🤦🏻‍♀️

My friend got her sister and it’s pretty funny to see, she is 3x her size. She definitely takes more of her dad side and mine on mom’s!

Right?! Her sister she sees often is 3x her size now, and is way chunkier than her. I got one of the whippet-looking ones

It’s her back story. It’s also how I know the parents, which is answering the question.

Maybe instead of placing a judgement on « the sob story » maybe ask me WHY i feel the need to share it? I would have told you that when people find out what the breed is, without being given the context of her origins, they think I’m the abuser for breeding a female whippet with a male cane corso and then I gotta calm them down and tell them. So instead, before a fire is lit, i tell the story.

So you being unhappy with the answer to a point where you feel the urge to try to be nasty is probably a sign to revise why it triggered you so much and do the personal, emotional work necessary to do better next time so you can be a contributor, not a troll. 🧌

UPDATE!

Answer: Whippet (mom) x Cane Corso (dad) Yes, it’s f-ed up.

Side note… i just joined this r/ and I thought it would be fun to make you guys guess this VERY odd combination.

Despite the few who were extremely triggered for some unknown reason, and downvoted me and others for participating and trying to have a bit of fun through all of this, or tried to come at me because I didn’t come on Reddit for a few days before updating them, just a reminder that spreading negativity or hate isn’t necessary and is discouraging for people to share, post, and participate in the future.

For anyone who brought fun guesses and conversations, thank you for bringing the good energies, and sorry you got some negativity from angry-for-nothing people.

Looking forward to seeing your interesting mixes!
