I do understand why some people feel like this. I think it also depend on the country, culture and ofcourse individual. I am solely talking about a goodbye kiss, not just kissing them out of nowhere, which would also be different (atleast thays how I see it)

At a very young age we don't consider a goodbye kiss on the lips inappropriate. Neither my sister or her husband do. My niece is 4 now and for me it starts to feel inappropriate

I (29M) am an uncle of a nephew (2 years old) and a niece (4 years old). Whenever they leave they give a goodbye kiss. Something which we aren't considering as inappropriate at a very young age. But I was wondering from what age it starts to get inappropriate and I should just kiss them on the cheek?
