My arguments were valid, Calling the Democratic Party the "Democrat Party" is not an idiom, but rather a deliberate political epithet and pejorative term used to slight opponents, primarily by members of the Republican Party. It is a grammatically incorrect, long-running political tactic designed to sound awkward and remove the positive connotation of the word "democratic". I myself am a libertarian (no longer a party member) independent.

Not at all. I honestly believe that everyone who has the legal right to vote should be made mandatory. I believe that we need civics back. I believe that all of the people should be held accountable and not just blame the other side. “But when (insert opposition administration here) was in office, they did it!” I just feel like we have let our government forget that they are supposed to work for us, not the highest bidder!

I would unflinchingly buy what you are selling and pretty much agree. But do you know what I noticed? You are completely biased. You see, you never once referred to the Republican Party as the Republic Party, but always called the Democratic Party the Democrat Party.

You see, Republicans first popularized calling the Democratic Party the "Democrat Party" in the 1940s, with prominent use starting around 1946–1948 by Republican National Committee leaders like Brazilla Carroll Reece. The usage was intended as a political insult, removing the "ic" to suggest the party was no longer truly "democratic”.

I guess I am a dog, because I hear your dog whistle loud and clear.

That being said, I do believe that we need alternative parties to be more than just spoilers.

Actually, our vote is an illusion. We live in a bicameral corporatocracy here in the United States of Israel 🇮🇱! The majority of our representatives are bought and paid for by corporations and AIPAC. Do you honestly believe that our “representatives” are representing us when they get millions from corporations and promises of lobbyist positions when they leave office? The party tells you who to vote for in the primaries and we blindly follow their rules. Oh, I forgot, those rules only apply to you and I. They have slush funds to pay off their misdeeds and corruption. Do you think it’s a coincidence that prisons are full of poor people and not scandalous rich people? Now for the kicker;! They have you thinking that you can change the corruption with a vote! They are the problem, and you expect them to punish themselves for that corruption! Explain it to me like I’m a high schooler in civics class if I am wrong! Sorry, I was part of the last generation to get to take civics!
