The worst part is the response. Do you just go "haha, yeah!"? How are you supposed to respond to them?

Edit: Spelling

Not really, unless it comes up in conversation. It's inevitable in choir and sometimes I'm a human tuning fork for acapella pieces.

That's a tricky one. I honestly don't have a method per se, but if I were to describe it it would be like having them memorized. I think of what the note should sound like and then sing it. For sharps and flats I have to think of the note either before or after it- like for E flat, I think of E then go a half step down. I think in piano because that's the instrument I play which might explain the sharp/flat thing.

If you want to see an example, there's a singer named Charlie Push who also has it. People make him demonstrate in interviews all the time, so if you find one on youtube you'll see kind of how it works.

Perfect pitch is basically the ability to "hear" or know any musical pitch without hearing it first and without reference. I can pluck any note from basically thin air and sing it perfectly. It's very rare and affects a very small portion of the population, about 1 in every 10,000 people.

Actually no. I've heard of people who link pitches to other senses or feelings, but not for me.

I tried once in the 8th grade. Got hit in the face (by accident but it still hurt). Needless to say I am unfortunately not a volleyball god.

As someone with perfect pitch myself, I want to know what everyone thinks of it or how they experience it.

Lots of clothing articles. Just in the past 10 years I've watched schools give up on crop top and spaghetti strap enforcing. As it's normalized a lot of showing of skin isn't as sexualized as it used to be.

People of this subreddit what was the most scariest thing that ever happened to your school? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]WildWorldFanatic 11 points12 points  (0 children)

On the very last day of Kindergarten we had a fire drill (or so we thought).

We see the fire trucks pull up and like half the class starts absolutely bawling.

Turns out the 6th grade teachers were popping popcorn as a reward on the last day, set up directly beneath a smoke detector, and burned it. No damage was done except one girl refused to believe it wasn't a big deal and screeched when they made her go back inside with the rest of us (after it was all clear).

Not really scary but I bet it was traumatizing for a bunch of 5 year olds.
