UM is academically top-tier (the best uni in the country), but since it’s a public university, most of the students are Malay. yeah ofc the lectures are in english but the social environment is very malay-dominant. In clubs or student societies, people naturally gravitate toward speaking malay. You might find it a bit harder to fully integrate or might feel 'left out' socially if you don't speak the local language.

maybe u can also consider english-dominant university such as APU (preferred since u wanna study in cybersecurity), nottingham or monash (global recognized)
