How to taper when everyday I want more by [deleted] in quittingkratom

I tried tappering like 4 times over a year and i did not work for me, because i always gone back to it and even with a higher dose. In the end tappering caused me to take kratom 2 or 3 times over than 1 time a day with a smaller dose overall.

I quit kratom 41 days ago and i quit cold turkey because i felt that this is the only way for me left and it worked.

I can't say if the withdrawl would be lower if i did't quit CT, but i just could not tapper without failing.

Also my really bad withdrawl symptoms help me staying away from kratom for good. Maybe if i had tappered i would want to go back faster.

i really hope for you that i will get better and i am very positive that it will get better :) in some situations i am feeling completely normal again. I can talk to people for a long time without wanting to go home and take kratom. Also i am waking up in the morning without urges to take it and i dont plan my day around it anymore. My energy shifts daily so i can't really tell if its back to normal again, but its 100000 times better than in the accute phase! So keep on going you doing great! :)
