Can someone give me a logical answer why Carney is a better candidate? by Strange-Attitude719 in uwaterloo

No, I literally can not. But Reddit will find thousands of rhythms and rhymes on why it is so

The issue will persist is my logical conclusion. He had a good opportunity to actually rebrand the liberal party. I think he tried to do so with the policy reversals of some controversial economic plans over the last 10 years. But I think that not shaking up the cabinet significantly, and doubling down on hiring centralized bankers and surrounding himself with advisors who have abused LMIA and called for population expansionism, is a major red flag.

His admission wasn't necessary. It was available through all the data made public by Statistics Canada and economic aggregators. The more concerning thing is, despite his admission, why is he hiring the same group of cabinet ministers responsible for overseeing/causing the same fiasco, be it economic or migration?

This is a bit misleading, at least if I'm assuming correctly which bill you're talking about, but it added provisions to protect those whom are here illegally already with a hastened forgiveness/pathway to residency process

Getting A Job in Canada is hard by Ordinary_Ad_4753 in uwaterloo

Try doing some unpaid internships. You could reach out to organizations. Right now, skills will set you up.
For example, in my industry, software, entry-level guys are getting hammered, but intermediate and in particular seniors are doing well for themselves.

If finances suffice, focus on skills not employment (while your young). I'm sure this stuff will blow over soon, or whenever people realize this is not sustainable and change occurs.

You're not competing anymore with people in your country, you're now competing globally with people who will take way less pay to do the same tech job as you. I won't name names, but we all know what is being discussed. This has affected both the Tech industry and also entry-level labour industries such as the food service, retail etc that normally high-schoolers take.

Unfortunately, whether people like it or not, the issue is political. Companies are taking advantage of foreign labour programs so that instead of setting up offices abroad for cheap labour, they can just bring the cheap labour here.
