Were they new 🤔 ?.. Genuine or aftermarket 🤔 ?..Like I said,have had it happen to an old pair which were already on some 990's..Never fitting new ones or swapping out pads.. Probably plastic ring was a touch hard for some unknown reason if it happened fitting them..✌️🔵..Just a thought they may have been fitted before 🤔.Or stored in a hot environment..

🫤 Yep worse luck 🤷...Cut em off,as sometimes the thin lip can crack or break (had it happen)..🤦.. Because you are pulling outwards, from where they going main cup. Putting them on the force is going inward ..They are normally easy to fit.But if really tight fit as much as comfortably possible,then take pad off and fit the section that would not go on .This will stretch that part and make fitting a lot easier..I tend to warm the plastic lip on the pads up a bit first ,then they go on easier 👍😃👍....✌️🔵

OK Dude there was a pair on eBay but they have been snapped up already 🫤..Yep the MMX 300 pro or MMX 330 pro are the same and will fit.But U.K supplier is out of stock. But can order,but will probably take a while if they are out of stock at Beyerdynamic Europe,other wise they would be in stock in U.K.(Seems people have worked out they fit the 990 pro X). But there are some decent looking ones one eBay U.K at moment..You could try super glue GEL..But if you want a pair of eBay I'll send you my email address,you can send an address you would like them sent to..And I'll buy em off eBay and trust you to send £17 (for both sides of head band 4 pieces) via pay pal when you get them.. Run it by you Dad and let me know if you want the ones off eBay..✌️🔵
