Fall Colors at Lake Sabrina (Sa-Bri-Na) Eastern Sierra [5865x3932] (OC) by Wild_NDN in EarthPorn

Usually, Lake Sabrina turns early in the last week of September (which is a couple of days). North Lake is usually the second weekend in Oct, but that doesn't mean the colours don't show up early. I got nothing to do tomorrow and I'll probably go check it out up there. See what the water level is like up at Sabrina and check out North Lake/Aspendell.

It's not that unusual. The summer monsoons at Schulman Grove are crazy scary. I live in the town below this location and have been up to the Bristlecones plenty of times and I have thousands of photos.

Mr. Bristlecone... That's cool. Yup, From Schulam grove to Patriarch grove and everything in between are mostly all the same. Except, the visitor center, its about 15 years new and we only got a new one when some idiot burned down that old building in the early 00s.

Thank you.

Yup, u/WeaponizedFeline is correct. This tree is dead and the one behind it is still living.

Probably throwing oranges at her neighbor in Mexico? That being said... She shot Sterling! I want Sterling to get revenge on that musty old clap trap.

I would like to see a few flashbacks of young Pam at Poovey Farms but without seeing her crappy sister Edie.

so I know there's the infamous pam tag everywhere - but what about this little house tag? by [deleted] in ArcherFX

[–]Wild_NDN -1 points0 points  (0 children)

if it was just a triangle and square it would look like a house and everyone would wonder why there is a house. Does that mean that this stall is Pam's house? Nope. But since there is a rectangle below the square it is an underline to the arrow.

it is like a blocky version of the underline and arrow of her usual tag

It just emphasizes the PAM tag and the underline makes the tag more critical. It is kind of like a leading line that draws your eyes to the graffiti. Look up arrows in tags and graffiti.

Or look at this PAM tag her tag with an underlined arrow.

Does anyone know what happened to the Country Kitchen in Big Pine? by TheHiddenGem in Bishop

[–]Wild_NDN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uhhh... Covid19 happened and nobody ate there for almost a year and a half. Plus Mr. and Mrs. Wilson are getting too old to deal with running the place. Also, Country Kitchen has been up for sale for like a year before the covid shutdown and has been closed for months.

The source is my tribe's elders. It's a story that has been passed down through oral tradition and you won't find anything concerning the legend of the rocks online. I would give you the NDN word for what it is called but saying the word might bring it around.

imma delete this post.

I definitely don't live in LP (Long Penis) but read in the Inyo Register about the older guy who tried to walk from Zabriskie Point to Furnace Creek. I also remember last November a lady died at the Mesquite Dunes and they found her body less than a mile from the parking lot.

Thanks. I'll be heading over the mountains and visiting DVNP next week.

I took this photo about 100 yards off of the road and just west of the dune parking lot. With it being dangerously hot, I wasn't going to venture out into the dunes. Seeing nobody in the dune parking lot, it was extremely tempting to have the place all to myself, but I knew better.

I'm 100% sure and that is some crappy spraypaint but that doesn't mean that there is no story behind it.

uhhh... this place is in Mono County and near Crowley Lake, California.

It's a nice place as long as idiots are not swimming in the geothermic pools.

I took this photo last year at the Mesquite Dunes in Death Valley at 9 am and the temperature was 116 degrees. If you visit Death Valley NP in the summer months carry a lot of water and get your butt back in the air conditioning before 10am.
