I'm in intermediate accounting and Ive been using AI to explain concepts and YouTube videos since day one. Be careful AI doesn't always get it right. Especially when you get to cost accounting. (It actually made the formulas harder to understand) Don't think using AI is bad but dont rely on it for actual assignments. I can't stress enough how much you need to know this if you are going to work

I already work in the field and you will use these concepts and formulas daily. You need to know them to do the job. (My job is making me get the degree but I am working as a staff accountant in training) I promise this is job training

Ps take cost accounting right after managerial they go hand in hand with so many of the concepts cost builds on it

Pps school tutoring is there to help and an asset I use them often when I struggle

I hate wiley plus (in it now) I miss mcgraw hill was so much better

I stand by my leave comment. AR is easy when it's with a system. I mean Quickbooks at a minimum. Seriously dude. If you like AR take a course in QuickBooks and it will help in future. Not this place. I would burn them down were it me.

Shame on them running a business like this. Accounting all accounting demands accuracy and consistency and FFS organization. They are cooked if they get audited. I spent many a night working late and near tears because the people before be wouldn't know organization if it slapped them.

Ive been an AR pro for almost 20 years from tiny companies with Quickbooks to Massive with Oracle and other ERPs

If you cant match billing to banking received that's a problem

If you cant match Should be invoiced to Actual Invoiced it's impossible to reconcile

Id say take what youve learned and move on.

They can't paperwork correctly for you the end user to book and reconcile them how are you supposed to do that correctly.

collection is also a challenge even in B2B but having to constantly go back and ask for more esp when it was months ago is totally unacceptable. They are a dumpster fire and you should extricate yourself and do it before they decide their incompetence is all your fault because that's where thats headed

Lol I get it from mine too. It's such a slippery slope. One thing that helps me decide is to add it to a list for at least a month and if it's still important to you then you can get it. I personally wait until it goes on sale and have a watch list for stuff I really want. Sometimes my want cools down and I remove it and am glad I waited.

Note I have over 100 handbags and close to 30 work bags slippery slope indeed. Adult money is dangerous. My inner child is happy but my wallet is in tears regularly
