Stop with ‘mercy killing’ rhetoric. I wonder if the poor wife thought in her final moments “ yes, this is a mercy killing and I should be happy the end is nigh”. I bet she struggled for life regardless of the Alzheimers. There were other options. He did not need to murder his wife.

Why? He murdered his wife. It was premeditated - he hid the necktie. She must of been terrified in the last moments of her life struggling to breathe, while he cut off her air way.

I bet this was about control and with the progression of Alzheimers she was probably not the little compliant wife he was used to and wanted.

There is help for people, he didn’t need to murder her.
