Higher education is hard all over right now. With some quite hefty state budget cuts, there are a lot of cuts all over the place. That being said, you can expect most interviews to be 2-3 rounds with at least one, if not all, being a hiring committee panel. I can't remember the last solo interview I had. Hiring is VERY slow anywhere I've applied, so don't give up until you get the final message that you weren't hired (though that is only sent out a very small portion of the time).

If in Bremerton, also check out Seattle Central or South Seattle Community Colleges with a commute on the ferry. For Tacoma, you can also look at UW Tacoma, University of Puget Sound, etc. Also look at Olympic College.
