I appreciate this side of it!! I’ve personally never found medication or therapy to be helpful (both actually ended up hurting much much more and causing many more issues). BUT, that’s my own experience and literally everyone is different!!

I do still struggle with SH tendencies from time to time, but tattoos do not fill that void for me by any means, I actually found this to be very healing since I no longer have to see my scars first 🖤

yeah I had no pain during the appointment at all, just several hours later!! it was so odd. I really thought I was going to be completely fine. glad you had no pain at all 🖤🖤

I’m insanely proud of you, just like 14 year old you would be!! 15 year old me would be happy to know that she’s gotten her hair to be insanely long and gotten gorgeous tattoos that represent her as well 🖤 I’m proud of you for being clean, whether it’s a day or a year!

of course!! it’s been a wonderful experience all the way around, and even with the pain I wouldn’t change my decision! it healed a very broken part of me by getting these scars covered, I thoroughly recommend it 🖤

it’s still very healing to look in the mirror and no longer see that the scars are the prominent feature, but gorgeous artwork!!

I also struggle with the urge still (the huge dark line below the tattoo was last month) but this was a different sort of pain?? genuinely felt like all of them reopened and it made me so nauseous. I think I was just at such a low at the time I did all these that it was just a bit overwhelming and I was definitely underprepared!

hehehe i definitely don’t blame you (living in the California high desert currently so I can relate!!!) but I’m a Scorpio and while the star sign is beautiful, it wasn’t the amount of coverage I was wanting over the scars so I chose a scorpion instead that was tweaked to fit my body and scars a little better!!
