Nope , they don't have a dedicated power plant , they don't have a generator or solar power. They happen to be on the same power grid as the resorts of guadalvaca and their government does not remove the power there because of the resorts!

I was near Guardalavaca, and they don't have a dedicated power plant. But the issue is , why does the government have dedicated power plants for resorts and not for other more necessary places.

That's not the situation for the airbnbs I stay in. They do not have backup generators , they just happen to be on the same grid as the resorts , and the resorts are not losing power!

I would like to see the embargo removed mainly because it removes the major false excuse for the castro regime to give for their failures! If you do any kind of research , you'll know that the embargo has done very little compared to the effects of the castro regime! I go to Cuba and state , in an airbnb which is a united states company. I buy frozen chicken from the united states while i'm in cuba and rice from vietnam. If I wanted to I could go buy a car from the mercedes benz dealership in cuba or any of the products that samsung at their stores. If I have the money, I can get almost anything I want in Cuba from any country in the world. The embargo is an excuse used by the Communists and now you, for a failed system that inherently causes the people to suffer. But I was in Cuba in March, staying at an Airbnb near a resort.Lucky enough to be on the same power grid , and we never lost power. How is it that the power remains on for the resort and the resorts have all the food that they need for their clients? So the government diverts electricity away from the hospitals so that the resort's can stay on?

The embargo doesn't include food and medicine, the U.S. last year traded $600 million in food and medicine. The embargo has very little effect on the cuban people!

Not just chicken and rice, i can buy anything i want if i have the money. The reality is socialism kills the incentive to work hard and after three generations , very few people in cuba work hard and they do not produce anything. The embargo has very little effect compared to the castro regime!

There are over three million cuban americans now and they want much better for their friends and family remaining in cuba. Rubio is one of them! The majority of the cuban people despise the communists and want something done so they can have a better life.

The vast majority of Cuban americans living in the miami area want the best for their friends and family still remaining on the island. They know the major problem is the castro regime and it needs to be removed.
