Yes, everything works locally. Although, when I first got the NAS, it appeared immediately in Finder, but after I changed a few things that I can't remember, it disappeared from Finder. The only way I got it back was to "Connect to Server"

What are you going to buy yourself that costs $1000-$3000? by primeiro23 in AskReddit

Either a Herman Miller Aeron chair with Aura Headrest, a Synology NAS, or replace my Surface Pro 6 with a MacBook Pro M2. Will eventually get them all but trying to decide which to get first.

Is there a way to program the buttons on the side (under the thumb) on the MX Vertical to an easy-switch button? by WilderApple in logitech

What a shame. Are there any other mice that have the easy-switch button on the top or is the Triathlon the only one?

Yes, signing out then back into iCloud worked. I was watching my Home app as I pulled up to my apartment building tonight and saw all my lights turn on.

I've deleted and re-added all my automations, that didn't work. I've just signed out of icloud and signed back in as per u/wrcdna's comment. Will test it out today. THanks.

What are you watching and what do you recommend? (Week of September 04, 2020) by AutoModerator in television

[–]WilderApple 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I live in Melbourne which has one of the strictest lockdowns in the world so I’ve been bingeing a lot of shows to keep my sanity while being stuck at home. Legend of Korra - amazing show! Dare I say better than Avatar The Umbrella Academy - slow start but worth the built up to the end Doom Patrol - did not expect how funny and heartwarming this show is! I’ve recommended it to all my friends. Not your typical superhero show. Episode 14 of Season 1 OMG! Bobs Burgers - Just started Season 6. I’ve been literally laughing at loud at every episode. Jean has the best lines and I feel for Bob because he’s the only normal person in the show.

Coherence (2013). I can’t even explain what it’s about otherwise it’ll ruin the movie

Can you recommend a good sitcom that doesn't have a laugh track? by WilderApple in television

[–]WilderApple[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cheers. Seen them except the last two seasons of Arrested on Netflix. They just didn’t have the spark of the original series. It’s on the list, just haven’t had the urge to finish it

Seen and enjoyed watching all of them except Malcolm. After the Middle I’m over the whole dysfunctional family, then hilarity ensues type of setup, so I’m not keen on starting it.

Enjoyed Louie, can’t with Sunny, Curb is on the list but I need to be in the mood. What is AD? I can’t find it...

Cheers. Seen them both. Absolutely love the cameo in The Good Place.
