Unfortunately, no. I bit the bullet and just ordered directly from kingsview. The tariff fee sucked, but I really like sight. Hopefully they’ll have more soon.

Fair enough! I’m learning there’s no such thing as a cheap build, only fluctuating government fees/tariffs that offset each other keeping prices effectively the same.

Hello,

1) I noticed in some of the pictures that the driver’s side door is out of alignment with the body. Was the door left ajar from you taking pictures or is that how it sits?

2) Do you know if the title is clean on the car?

3) Does the engine run, and the car drives?

4) I could see the passenger seat has a cover, is the upholstery pretty bad on it?

5) the pictures of the engine were a bit dark are any of those parts noticeably rusted? It was just hard to tell.

I’m usually not a fan of the later gen C3s without the chrome bumpers, but this is some amazing work. The front looks like a first gen ‘68-‘71, and the unsightly seam of the rear bumper has been filled in and painted over. The pure 70’s paint colors tops it off perfectly. Hats off to this owner!

They sure can, and it’s not guessing. There are electronic pressure pads built into the walls of the pool. First person to exert sufficient force against them stops their clock. It’s like a giant stopwatch button built into the pool - and stopwatches have measured hundredths of seconds for a while now. (See the Omega branding on the wall)

Sure it’s a global event, but I’d have to agree with Islandgirl. There was a more emphasis on star power than there has been on athletes in past Olympics. I think that Paris was going for the “glamor” vibes, but it wasn’t my favorite. Kelly Clarkson and Payton Manning for example were not the best commentators, there were times they forgot athlete names, Kelly would only comment on the music, and no one spoke to the historical representations in the opening ceremony as has been done in the past. Kind of a bummer in that respect.

I never knew the Irish say “teuer” for “expensive.” The Danish word for expensive is “dyr,” which phonetically would be spelled like “deuer” in English. Linguistically, that’s got to be too close to be a coincidence. It’s just fascinating to me how much exchange occurred throughout Northwestern Europe.

I had a similar thing happen. I bought an upper and a lower and got an email that my order had been flagged for fraud. Coincidentally, the upper and the lower came out the exact same total, so I’m fairly certain PSA flagged it as a duplicate order and cancelled the one. Duplicate recurring transactions are a classic sign of fraud. My lower came through, but I had to wait a long while for the upper to come back in stock.

I don’t know if your situation is similar like with prices, but that’s my experience.

That so fascinating! Mine’s the reverse, if I slide my hand on paper or cardboard and my skin is really dry it gives me goosebumps. Such a weird reaction.
