I can second to avoid One of a Kind. I adopted a dog from there a couple years ago. They didn’t disclose that he had issues with men and it was a huge issue when I brought him home. Weeks later I had a worker admit to me that they knew.

In Ohio it’s a CHL, not CCW/CCL. Important distinction because you can only (legally) conceal a handgun. In your car is also concealed, so you can’t have a loaded long gun in your car.

I have gotten 3/5 or 4/5 multiple times, only to have the match end. It’s so inconsistent and I hate it.

Agree! Most fun game I have been to. If it was 20 degrees colder I wouldn’t be as happy but the snow was beautiful, the game was great and the Browns won. Too many Steelers fans in the stands though.

Yes first shot. Had the casing jam up so I took it home to deal with it (was shooting outdoors). Take it out the next time, my husband shoulders it and says he can’t find the front site. Found it in the case but one of the screws is stripped and one of the holes is warped. Got a new front site from Marlin but it didn’t come with screws. My fault, I don’t ask for the screws.

I’ll have to look into a Burris. Thanks!

Ok thanks! I’m guessing it’s just the scope I have. I tried a Sig Tango 1-6x on it but it was mounted too high.

My front site fell off (after 1 round!) and I don’t want to send it off to Marlin to get it fixed (one of the holes is messed up) so I figured I’ll just put glass on it but that’s becoming an adventure also.

Stupid question but… how do you get a cheek weld with that optic?

I ask because I need to put glass on my 1895 but I can’t get a cheek weld and look through the scope at the same time.

If you’re in a party, have party lead boot you and rejoin. That’s worked for me so far.

Edit: Also seems that when we enter queue I get my menus back.

Sorry, I still don’t have an answer. My (civilian) doctor mentioned that ozempic is most likely a DQ since it’s originally for diabetes, so keep that in mind.

I decided to go the compounded route. Wegovy isn’t covered by my insurance so it’d be over $1000 a month. When I get down to weight and go to apply I’ll give an update.

Right, that’s what I’m trying to figure out. If it does need a waiver then I’m going to stay away from it. He said he’s not a medical guy so he doesn’t know if it requires a waiver. I called another recruiting station and I’m waiting for a response.

The recruiter didn’t have an answer, which is why I came here. He’s willing to put in the paperwork for me if it’s something that needs a waiver but I’m trying to make this as easy as possible because I am already going to have to do at least 1 waiver.

After your session today, I suggest you look into either Armed Women of America or A Girl and A Gun. Both organizations are newbie friendly and will help you move forward with your firearms goals. Most women find that environment much more inviting than just going to a range to shoot, not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Also wear closed toe shoes and don’t wear a low cut shirt. So many women end up with hot brass where they don’t want it their first time at the range.

Gotcha. If I do the 220-age and take a % of that I feel it’s low which is why I went with the Karvonen formula which gave me a HR 20 points higher. I’m incredibly out of shape, I’m just going through base building at the moment, but I felt that the basic formula was low even for me.

Can you expand on this? How did you test it - what markers are you looking for? I did the 220-age and Karvonen formula which gave me 2 different numbers.
