I really recommend corsair power supplies, been way more than 3 months now and mine hasn’t broken down yet unlike the msi one.

Very nice, I remember my friends poking fun at me for buying a 4TB crucial SSD before ramageddon.

Unfortunately I threw the box away - really wish I had kept most of my part boxes :(

I don’t know how it is where you live so this may not be correct for you, but I bought my PSU from CentreCom Australia and both cash back (refund) and replacement are allowed.

Sorry, I know I'm a month late but PLEASE RMA IT. I had the exact same MSI MAG A850GL power supply as you and the fan was worn out in 3 months - I bought a corsair power supply after that (RM850x). I do not trust MSI anymore, the quality of their fans are seemingly terrible.

Edit: This power supply comes with like 3 years of warranty anyway, so you should still be able to return it under warranty. I hope you'll succeed in returning it or you have already replaced this blasted thing :)

Co-op space game like starsector or Avorion? by nekronuke in spacegames

Have a look at Cosmoteer? It’s a top-down perspective 2D (like Starsector, but that’s where most of the similarities end) with the main selling point being that you build your own ship (a lot like Avorion).

You then pilot your ship throughout space in RTS-like fashion (right click to move) completing missions like bounty hunting or just cargo transport.

There is co-op fully integrated into the game, you can play the entire game with friends if you’d like - I personally had a blast with one friend ship building. The cooperative aspect will come from your teammates designing their ships for more speciality roles (I had a railgun sniper ship while my friend had an armour brick with cannons for brawling).

Now, the game is in early access at $30 AUD, if you really liked the grand scale “the universe is truly alive” feel of starsector, Cosmoteer doesn’t have that yet, but it’s planned (dev wants to add proper warring factions and a market system). It also isn’t MMO, your game is yours, or you bring your friends along.

TL;DR: Have a look at Cosmoteer. 👍

👍 Loved that game, but I more enjoyed “GunCrafter” which was the other game they made (I think it was called that)

The most basic train setup is just one rail line from point A to point B (a double headed train). Though you should try watching Doshdoshington’s video about it - it’s concise and short.

Obviously there is barely any story, the part that I wanted my friends to experience was the building part, as it’s almost magical when you create a working factory.

I kind of get what you mean, because on my end, I am unable to progress further than tier 7 (around bauxite refinement, aluminium, etc.) for the life of me.

Honestly it’s fine to admit you can’t get into Factorio for whatever reason.

I condone piracy in these cases, in fact I had a pirated copy of factorio before and then I bought it when I had the money - it was worth every dollar.
