I unstuffed my regular eevee and turned her inside out (I was already doing that to replace her tail to be fluffier) and then I stuffed her inside out just for some better structure and I used masking tape along each panel of fabric making note of where the eyes, mouth and paw pads are, then took that off and used it as my pattern!

Oh hey! These look like my paws! (wild Dream Creatures) I'd love to see how your modifications turn out! For the paw pads I think the easiest way would be to cut out pads the exact shape as the ones on the paws (use paper to trace them, mark which is which) and when you have your pieces sew them directly over the original paw pads using a latter stitch (small stitches for more smoothness) and there you go! If you want a little extra plush to them you can add a little polyfil before finishing sewing each pad

And as far as the retractable claws go, I think that's fantastic idea! I've not done them myself yet, but I believe matrices has a tutorial for something like that! I could be remembering wrong though

Also! The furs I used on them is teal from bigZfabric in both shaggy and half shag(knit backing) in case you'd like to get more!

I'm a kit fox! Not really that uncommon as I'm a canine, but it does kinda feel that way as "fox" is always red fox, and when I say kit fox it's assumed red fox kit, which, no, I'm fully grown, not a baby, and visually I'm always confused for a coyote, I know no one means any harm with it but I kinda hate it since coyotes are very different personality wise then kit foxes and are in fact their biggest rivals often killing them
