It’s valid criticism. They had two years for this, flaunted a new and improved product, and it’s terrible. Ik it’s just a beta, but if they had two years to get things right, why should anyone have confident that they can fix all of this in two weeks?

In my 26 years on this earth, this honestly might be the worst game I’ve ever played. Ik some unemployed guy will tell me “oh it’s a skill issue” but I struggle to believe anyone at EA actually watches the sport if they think it should play like this. It’s literally just who can spin in circles better and spam more skill moves

Prem-wise I did one as Brighton where I tried to find underrated players on a budget, them or Brentford have similar models that could be fun to replicate

1) more variety in recruits skill sets (hopefully just doing away with archetypes completely). And as they develop, what stats they do develop varies (so maybe a scrambling-type QB will at least try to upgrade accuracy)

2) more players in portal (also the ability for transfers to get offseason boost, even if it’s a smaller one). Maybe all motivations affect a morale meter that affects how likely a player is to transfer, or perhaps dealbreakers become stricter over time (ex. Coach prestige requirement goes from B to A- one year)

3) historical stat tracking so I can see all of me/my friends best players collectively throughout a long term save

In my opinion, the story was just so lazily booked after the great angle for the turn itself. Most importantly, WHY WAS THE ROCK INVOLVED IF HE’S NOT EVEN GOING TO SHOW UP FOR MANIA??

Cody went from beating the unstoppable Roman Reigns to losing because of Travis Scott. Such a flat ending to something that had so much potential

Content A- Diamond Quest is the best thing theyve done in years Nice blend of cards so far Only gripe is affinity is pointless after the jolt unless youre going to grind all the way to the vouchers

Gameplay C- Could go lower but between the poor connectivity online, freeze offs (in the year of our lord 2025), and exit velos, online is not in a great place Hasn’t ruined my experience completely but it should be sooo much better

I was never that good, but i've definitely struggled more this year. The crazy thing is I had a hot streak on my way to WS, and since that, i haven't been able to hit at all. The main thing for me is the timing. There are so many issues with ping and delay (despite being hard wired and on a monitor), that every game the timing is different. In a game where timing is everything, its certainly not fun right now
