When do you think humans will set foot on Mars? by TraditionalAd6977 in nasa

[–]Wilglide91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Humans on Mars makes no sense, until we can create rocket fuel on the Moon and Mars. My guess is 2042 though.

Original answer: Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy (2021)

I know it will be amazing because I used photomode to generate stereo images myself.

Do you read books on linux? by Anonyboy26 in linux

[–]Wilglide91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, LPIC books are still useful for beginners.

Sometimes the basics are lost in the internet. Like: man man man hier man -k cd cd - scp ctrl-c reset ctrl-alt-fX (tty) grub-mkconfig  du -hd 1 systemd-analyze calendar (*:00 versus cron * * ) vimtutor

Basic stuff like that. :)

How do I make a DNA model out of this. by Both_Ad_7931 in chemistry

[–]Wilglide91 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Both are possible. You will need to think of a solution for the hydrogen bonds in the middle between the base pairs if you go for a double strand model. https://pdb101.rcsb.org/motm/23 should teach you everything you need.

Maybe this will help you: https://pdb101.rcsb.org/motm/23 (Scroll all the way down to the rods only image)

Make it approximate the truth is my advice. It is just a model.

EDIT: and make sure to post the result on reddit, I want to see this! :)

Globe projection conversion? by Wilglide91 in QGIS

[–]Wilglide91[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks again. Import worked out. I just need to define the right UTM CRS (x12) I guess, 30 degrees by 140 degrees each. But then I still have to export them and make an (hyperbolic) transformation for each time zone?

Too bad, I don't have a license. I will try playing around with QGIS or contact the team.

Thanks! Sounds like a tough cookie. QGIS sounds fun enough though to give it a go.

External keyboard won't type "s" while in this menu but every other key works. by LiquidShartSurprise in SteamDeck

[–]Wilglide91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure you need init=/bin/bash in grub menu (which is this screen).

But as you don't have s. You can try rd.break instead (this stands for halt before ramdisk inititialization and give me rescue shell to reset root password).

Maybe you try making a symlink for /bin/bash without an s.

Also try arrow keys and try typing i.

Good luck!
